  1. Agree with Mostly Muskies. Ran out of Dunkirk, we boxed 5, lost another...plus lakers and a nice brown we lost behind the boat. Also no pattern. 4 color, 1 ounce; 135 diver; 5 color 1 ounce. All spoons. Wd's and Yecks. We need a few degrees, and NO NE wind......
  2. Captain Rich; Nice report. East wind and full moon has really affected us out of Dunkirk, last few weeks. John
  3. Just as an FYI.....I have no interest in the sale of this boat, nor will I make anything from it.... 28', 1986 Wellcraft. Listed at www.wheelhousemarine.com in Grand Island NY (Buffalo area). Know the guy that used to run this boat, thought I'd help him out.... John
  4. Fyi...weekend in Dunkirk was slooooow,,,,,,
  5. Congratulations Rich and Team! I know how hard it is to put two days together derby fishing, let alone in two separate derbys. Nice job.
  6. There are some lights. Not sure if they came by water or not. Dock gate gets left open too much...our docks are near the night life. We working on getting at least some type of weighted closer on it tomorrow night. I've been able to hook my brother in law up with contacts at Okuma and Gamma...they going to get him back fishing pretty quick.... Still makes me sick to think we have to worry about crap like this.
  7. Had 3-4 boats broken into the other night at Chadwick Bay Marina in Dunkirk. Biggest dent was on my brother in laws boat. Took his stereo, vhf and 20+ combos. Mostly diawa reels and either okuma rods or shimano TDR's. Cut all his wiring too. Even stole a bucket he had on board...presumably to carry the radios. If you guys see anything pop up that looks like it might be out of place, I'd appreciate a heads up.... Thankfully...I didn't go in until the next day..... John
  8. Saw the pic of the sturgeon....bet you were surprised to see that! Got a short pike trip up north, then we'll be in the water at Dunkirk. Have a good season!
  9. ttt Great working unit in great condition. Negotiable....
  10. I have been using all Convectors....but picked up 4 of the Coldwaters. Very nice. I think they are smoother and quieter than the Convectors. I do have one, though that is making a different click sound than the other 3. Almost sounds like the clicker isn't doing what it is supposed too. Okuma has great service, and they have made arrangement to check it out.... John
  11. If I recall....this was made by Roemer Releases and was called a Liberator. And I believe it was for fixed sliders.....
  12. Adjustable height, Fishlander dual planer mast. 6 seasons old. Excellent condition. Includes base plate and knobs. Selling it because I went to a different 2 mast system. (Note..release in pic, not included). Asking $150.00 shipped. John
  13. Furuno LS6100 depth finder for sale. New in 2007. Has surface temp and speed. Monochrome. Excellent condition. Selling because I bought a color GPS combo unit and have no dash space left. Shoot me an email or call me if interested. On net, looks like $350 new. Asking $250 shipped.
  14. Nice report, Rick. Friend of ours (Mojo) finished up in the top 10, but said it was tough. We were up the weekend before....started out great but the last couple of days was really tough.... John
  15. Considering making a change to my planner board setup, so consequently looking for a used set of outrigger wishbones. Let me know if you have such thing. Thanks. John
  16. I won't be in town to help...but really appreciate all of your efforts for Lake Ontario. John
  17. A guy that I know has a vintage OMC outboard that he picked up recently. Has some numbers on it to help identify. Wondering if there is someone that I can be referred to that might know how to find out age and value?
  18. I know you want twins....helped a friend look this past fall...hard to come by....but if you look at the 25 Sportcraft listed.....great boat, well cared for.....just saying......
