  1. Where did ya pick it up and what are they charging? I saw a link above for one but that was w/o a transducer
  2. Another options is a Garmin. At 380 dollars this is a powerful unit. Im thinking of adding one on my boat so that the humminbird doesnt get lonely. I included the link so that you can check it out. It is a new product from them. http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates ... hasJS=true
  3. I have a pair that I no longer need because I went to electric. They are about 2-3 years old and work fine. I do have the tab lock bases to go with them. I have a couple 10lb weights you can have as well. The weights are a little beat up but they will work. I used these for 1 year on my 14ft boat and 1 season on my 17fter. I will be up in Oswego this weekend if anyone wants them delivered. I can take a picture of them and send it via email if anyone is interested. 100 for the pair
  4. Set up shop east of the wall and worked the shoreline 8-20 ft. It was just me so I ran 2 lines. Ran smithwicks off of in line boards at about 2.1 -2.4. took 7 browns with the biggest 6.5 lbs. 2 small coho and 1 chromer . Overall went 10-13. I think everyone did pretty well from what I could see. Water temp ranged from 46-49 where I fished.
  5. that looks like oswego in the background
  6. Mine was a beach towel while ice fishing in 35 ft
  7. I thought that might have been you out there. That was me in the red Lund. I wasnt sure. Hey Bob what speed were you trolling at. I went up there solo yesterday and managed 3 fish. Slow for me.
  8. hey thanks, i never saw that, that might work
  9. I was wondering if any of you could give me advice on a steering arm thinger majigger. I need to attach my yammy t9 to my main motor. I wont be using a bracket as it will mount directly to transom. It seems to me there are 2 kind of steering arms out there. The EZ Steer and this one made by Stearns that is 150 dollars less. Is this Stearns one fine? Stearns- https://www.stearnsinc.com/NC_ProductsL ... ID=8542913 EZ Steer- http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates ... EZ%20steer Thanks, Landshark

  12. It might be stated on here somewhere but Is there a set time or day that guys enter the live chat section of this site? If not I was wondering if we could just shoot for something like Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm. Everytime I have been on there I have never seen another person. Am is just missing when people are on? Any ideas guys? INput? Landshark
  13. Im with you on this one Bob, sounds more like a brown catch to me.
  14. I was out and about this am so I decided to drive to the hatchery in Constantia and take a look at what was going on. Alot of activity. If I had to guess they had about 20 million of the 320 million eggs they collect annualy so there is a lot of time to get up there still. Scriba creek was flowing good so it was hard to see the walleye in the creek in thier natural spawning mode. I have been up there when the creek is lower and it is neat to see them running the creek. If you walk up to the waterfall (impassable) you can sometimes see walleye so thick you could walk across them to the other side. The kids would enjoy it. If you get a chance take a drive up there and check it out. There is some sturgeon in the tanks and some padlefish too.
  15. there is one on the spoonpullers board for 40 dollars
  16. listen up, do not i repeat do not take it to boats unlimited in utica. they are an authorized service center. i had major problems with them. It came to the point where Minn Kota was pissed at them and sent me a brand new 2007 motor.
  17. I heard about this the day it happened from a friend. i guess its true
  18. Yes, thanks alot and it's gret to know we have a residence where we can leave our boat safely now.
  19. Well i made my decision. I went with the Tohatsu 9.8 4 stroke electric start long shaft with 12v alternator. I ordered it online for a price of 1890 dollars delivered. No tax no shipping cost so hopefully it will be a good lil kicker. Time will tell.
  20. hey thanks for the report nuts. I am going to hit it in the next couple days. So wrights landing is open and I am able to launch? Are they charging yet or do they usually wait til a certain day?
  21. I have a brand new Lowrance LCX-16ci that I have yet to install on my boat. I currently am running a humminbird 937cdf. I wanted to put a second unit on my boat but now im debating that. Lowrance no longer makes the unit. If it is something you might be interested in then shoot me a private message/ offer. There are a couple links below that give you the specs on it. This does have gps and is color and I believe its the dual frequency model. http://www.onlinesports.com/pages/I,LOW-96-931.html http://bethel-marine.com/Lowrance_FF7.htm
  22. I have some pics i took 2 years ago of the hatchery in Constantia on Oneida lake. If you are interested in seing some of them Id be happy to forward them if you shoot me your email. It is really neat to go there if u have never seen it. Especially if you are a walleyeaholic like myself.
