  1. Good report, I took fish doing the same on friday morning. I worked around the 119 in 35-40 fow. I ran deep lil reef runners off the boards for the suspended fish and then I took some fish off the bottom with the riggers. One question and I am not busting your balls. Arent walleye illegale to cull? I think I heard that. I am just wondering because I never keep fish so I dont do it and when I'm in tournaments , I was told if you put it " in the box" you have to keep it. Anyone know the regulation behind this?
  2. Hey Juno, are there any wallys starting to show up yet?

  6. I bought a couple of the new accudepth models and used them this year and they are good reels so far. I'll tell you where you cant go wrong also is using Cabelas depthmaster reels. If anything fails on them, cabelas has always been good about replacing stuff.
  7. I sit in my smaller boat all winter long catching walleyes. For me this is the best tie os year. No boat traffic, no jet ski's. think about it
  8. http://www.churchtackle.com/50300.html# ... or_Flasher I actually never new church made any. are they new?

  11. Launched out of port ontario about 9 pm. Headed straight out to about 30 fow. (just to get beyond the other boats). Marked and picked up a few fish out there but rather slow. At about midnight, after the boat traffic calmed down we started to work the 10-15 just outside the wall. Took another 14 fish before 3am and lost a few others. ALL fish came on glow spoons 30ft behind the ball at about 1.9-2.3 Surface temp was 65 degrees. I couldnt believe how stacked up the fish are between the mouth and the first bend in the estuary. WOW  You can't get the screen to look like that on simulator mode Im tellin ya that if we get a good rain they are going to have to hit the sirens so people can get out of the way of fish trampling them. Now for my rant for the season. F*&$ing driftboats with no lights.   I know it's not required but use some common sense. It's one thing if they are anchored or still fishing off to the side. I can deal with that even though a light wouldnt hurt. It's the ones who troll in traffic that anger me so. All I am saying that it's hard to figure out what direction they are trolling. They are a pain in the arse. Dudes seriously, spend the 10 dollars and get a battery operated bow mount light so the rest of us have some clue which direction your moving before we are 50 ft away from ya. How long before they make this a law seriously?
  12. I'll second what sluggo said. I don't dare put plastic on when jigging in the susky. Ive caught alot of musky there on accident as well. They give me no thrll what so ever. Well, thats not totally true , they giver me a thrill until I realize its a musky and not an eye.
