ive heard great things about their service dept. but i have never had to deal with them. what did you think?

fishinman, do you have down temp? my focus this past weekend was finding 44- 46 degree water higher up in the water column say 55-65 down which has been 200-300 ft. if "fishing the screen" doesnt work than fish temp.

i figured that boat was your but wanted to make sure seems like alot of people were out on sunday.......

AM 6-2 worked 200-240' with a great screen (bait and fish). 7 for 10 mixed bag of kings and aerial steelies nothing over 10# riggers 25-55' down - dl28 kovorkians and purple thunder biggest king hit the dipsey rod 140 out- white echip w/ purple rain fly dumped all 3 fish on lead core 6 colors out PM 6-2 took the family out for an evening cruise, fished for about an hour or so worked 200-225', (almost the same as my AM report) my 4 1/2 son managed his first king and his first steelie (both real small fish but hey hes just getting started) AM 6-3 dead calm, hazy, humid, foggy morning (extremely quite radio) setup in a scum line at 180' great screen but no fish for an hour and half cold eastern wind created a 1-2 chop so we trolled north managed a slow pick in 230-250' kings and steelies. habanero 55 down glow frog 65' down, 51 chevy 45' down, and bloody nose 40' down took the fish. ended the day early 4 for 5 including 2 steelies for the loc board

Honestly ive been working too much to give a good answer. this was the first time i took the boat out twice in one week since i put it in this year. it was certainly a good week end and it was nice to put some kings in the boat

can someone tell me where i can buy blacks releases in rochester?

rohmer makes cheater "releases"..... cant think of the name of them...... they work great though. they actually attach to the line and when a fish hits they release and slide down the line. better debth control and better hook ups

if the problem only occurs when trolling, then i would say impellor

almost the same report as 5-26 46 degree water (surface temp) had moved out a little fished 220'-260' 6 kings and 3 bows 20-60' down. 4 rods and everything on the riggers mupped frogs, c5 frogs, purple frogs dumped a couple of big guys and a real nice steelhead that put on great show for us

worked 160-230', huge temp break out there 42- 49 degrees. 46 degrees seemed to be the number ended the day 10 for 18? w/ one small king and 2 steelies just under 10#. dl28 kovorkian ( was hot all day), frog, purple frog, chicken wing, anything purple. riggers 20-50' down and lead 4-5 colors

by all means if a smaller boat means you will you use it more than its time to trade up. im sure i this board theres alot of guys who own two boats just for this reason..................

my mechanic suggests always running bags to keep the rpm up. i have a v8 and it will troll under 500 rpm. just watch your oil pressure gauge and maintain good oil pressure and you should be fine.

hey schoolmaster the channel is good this year as opposed to last year. i always seem to stay a little west when heading out but no signs of a "magical" sand bar this year

my suggestion is to get your hands on as many sticks as you can. pink, purple, black and silver, orange, perch, rainbow and brown trout, the list gos on and on. different things work on different days. it would probably be good to check out the fishing reports and see whats working.

600' of copper? i can see that rod being ignored by guests obviously copper "could" replace the need for leadcore in the top 50' (due to less is more). and i guess if your running more then 6-8 lines it would be nice to add to the spread (copper off the boards on the outside)....... i love the leadcore, so whats the negatives?

could someone sell me on the idea of copper? how many of you guys are running it? whats the + and -?
