Friend of mine fished in front of ship builders creek yesterday for 3 hours and went 6 for 7 with 4 browns two of which went about 8# and 2 Atlantic salmon All on stick baits, not sure of colors or any other specifics except they were in 10 - 15 FOW

That is a terrible loss and I am sure he is in a better place My prayers go out to Shirley and her family. I hope that when we all catch a trout or salmon this year we take a moment to think of Joe and all that he did for our great fishery

Had the same thing happen to me at I Bay a few years back. The day it happened to me I got in a bit of a shouting match with the "park ranger" over the fact that I had had a safety check done by the coast guard (they gave me a sticker that was proudly displayed on my boat window) and they never told me I needed a flag . So he gave me a ticket and was going to arrest me for getting mouthy with him if I didn't back off Lucky for me I new a Irondequoit policemen that was in court the night of the case and he got it thrown out when I told him I had purchased the flag By the way this was a day when a boater had been missing on the water , so apparently they had nothing better to do at the time

Nice little 2 -3 lb brown trout a friend caught in Irond. Creek on Friday morning. Only one on this day but he caught 3 more up to 5lbs on Monday too

I use the shorter ones but was talking to somebody last year that said he uses the 30" ones without any problems.

Ed no they weren't done like that they were fillets. I think they had both fish but they new which were which because they packaged them separately. Brian I am gonna Mcfilet you Ray no only happens on your boat

JR , they are a older Ukrainian couple. Probably never had either LM or SM bass. They said they were good just had different tastes to each one. Thanks for the input guys Bob I'm gonna remove your lateral line in about 1 minute Never heard that Bob. I'll have to try that with salmon at work once and see
