yup bout 10yrs ago...if you can get past the island in 20 fow ive caught almost everything that swims...but latley with this global warming hoax there hasnt been safe ice out that far..inside of the island it shaloow and full of dink perch...

be fishin with jamie and the g2 crew valentines weekend..went last year and had a blast!!!when are you goin up next????

i thought i had posted this but i did not...after 25yrs of bow hunting and takin way too much time off according to my bride i finally shot a 10 point!!! at 6 yds..buck never made a sound and i only got a shot cause he stopped to check out a squirrel...the junk i was huntin in had 2 shootin lanes and he didnt bother to use them...used a pse fireflight,copper john site. beman carbon arrow and 85grain nap broad head...buck ran mabey 60yds ,dressed at 185lbs and was 5yrs old.. and so long 4 now;john

nice eyes!!i grew up on oneida and consider it my home water..ive busted a hump trin to figure out the eyes on owasco,otisco cross lake..they are there but i have little luck..oneida i can normally find them..its an hour away but soo worth it..and so long 4 now;john

hit the thumb again last nite caught 1 eye and lost 3.....the bite was very slow.but the weather and company was 1st rate...and so long 4 now;john

did some early eve fishing on oneida and 2 guys limited out in less than 2 hrs.the floating weeds were a pain in the arse but the bait and the eyes cooperated,,and so long 4 now;john

on the water at sunrise fished from 8-15 fow in the weed beds on the south shore around lakeport and bridgeport..fishin not so good, caught 20 perch threw back 6.may be the 1st time ever i didnt catch any bass while perchin..used crabs and minnows..perfect day on the water minus no fish..but it was way better than work....and so long 4 now;john
