My advice to you is be sure never touch your switch while your motor is running!I had someone change my switch while i had my motor running and it fried every thing on the boat.I WOULD SHUT MY MOTOR DOWN FIRST TO BE SAFE.

i to have the same problem on my 19 ft boat. i raised the mast but it didn't help.it only happens to your forward rods. i was thinking about attaching a safety cord to that rod.one that could be easly detached.this will probably let me relax and not worry about a lost rod.

i was a welder for years and i can tell you the best fix is tig welding.but if you want to try a cheap fix then try J B WELD that you can find in all most any store.

I have a problem every year in that i have to replace the two primer bulbs that sit in the wash of my boat because they get hard and you can't pump them to prime the fuel to the motor. Does any one have a suggestion on how to keep them from getting hard? I would think they should last more than one season.

iI HAD A PROBLEM WITH AIR BEING SUCKED INTO MY FUEL LINE THOUGH THE OTER MOTOR.MY REMEDY WAS I RAN ONE LINE FROM MY MAIN FUEL TANK TO MY WATER SEPERATOR,I THEN ADDED TWO SEPERATE (OPEN -CLOSED) VALVES, ONE TO TROLLING MOTOR AND ONE TO MAIN MOTOR.I KEEP THE MOTOR THATS NOT BEING USED CLOSED. GOOD LUCK

i have the mag 15 also with 5ft booms and i use the bases and swivel mounts decribed by PolarBear but find that the lexicon base on the swivel base keeps cracking atthe bolt holes so you might want to look for the older model metal swivel base they are much better and will not crack

Chromeslayer ,can you answer a few questions for me. #1 did you find that the scope base for the 220f to be a problem #2 after mounting your scope have you found any problem with shell ejection with the 2.75 and3 in shells #3do your shell caseings hit your scope when ejected the reason for these questions was i am considering buying one but have heard about some of these issues.
