  4. What I am getting at is it should have been a public invitation say post the meeting here on LOU for instance. Then nobody feels slighted. I am done with this conversation.
  5. Dave, I sit on the international stake holder committee with you... I have your personal contact information. As the President of the Eastern Lake Ontario Salmon and Trout Association I can assure you many Lake folks were very upset not being included in that meeting. I had two of my board members try and obtain access and were denied because they are just lake guys. Just trying to keep the playing field level. Look we all want the same thing (I hope)... 6. Interesting as I have seen minutes from that meeting saying you personally organized it. From the lake side we tried to have someone attend and were told "NO". So yea you either want everybody at the table or you don't. I am all for a good productive conversation and have been part of organizations that routinely host public meetings. We have never excluded anyone. Maybe next time you should speak up and make sure the meeting is a "Public" meeting. It may go along way showing that all groups and organizations want to work together and have an intelligent discussion on the future of the fishery.
  7. So if you want everybody at the same table does that mean you wont be having any more closed door invitation only meetings like the one you hosted last month? Pretty shady move.
  8. PAP your right you cant please everyone. Sorry to hear about your tackle box loss! I got a few things I am always keeping my eye out for. A few spoon blanks you cant get anymore, a couple old fish attractors, and some of the right glow bottom divers. Thanks again to everyone who came out and contributed to a very successful event. The kids also appreciate it.
  9. You do realize if I send it that way you will get 87 cents...Are you going to **** about not getting your whole dollar back? Just checking before I send it.. I am not the wise guy ****ing about a dollar..
  10. Please PM me your address I would be happy to send you your dollar back. Even refunding your dollar with what we took in on Saturday we are able to send 3 kids to DEC camp next year..... We don't have control over our vendors or there pricing. We just look to have as many vendors with tackle and equipment as possible. To the many who drove upwards of 3 to 4 hours to attend we thank you very much!! And hope to see all of you next year!! Pap we are a Salmon and Trout organization but I do see what your getting at with the walleye. I will see if I can add maybe a walleye seminar next year to the schedule.
  11. All the tables have been sold! See everyone next Saturday for a Great Show and Seminar.
  12. I would listen to that broadcast if your fishing this tourney! Missdemeanor gave up the spot where it will be won. I would be following Matt right to it on tourney day. There will be 2 31 Baha's and 2 or 3 ten meter Trojans headed there I am sure!
  13. This event is getting close! I know Pete, Mark and Myself are eager to talk to you guys and answer any questions you may have. Pete Lahosky was one of the keynote speakers last year in Buffalo at the LOTSA event. Pete's resume speaks for itself when it comes to tournament wins and running a successful charter boat out of Oswego. If you missed him there you wont want to miss him this time. For those of you who don't know who Mark (Thunderstruck) is here is a brief intro. Mark has local tournament wins including capping it off with the local Atommik challenge cup. He also has had multiple vessels from Starcrafts to Baha's to a Tiara currently. He has done more rigging and rewiring then a lot of people. Not only can he catch fish but he can rig a boat and rig it the right way. If you have something in particular you would like us to discuss in detail send me a pm on here or an email at [email protected] I look forward to seeing you all there at the sale and then at the seminar starting at 11 am sharp on the 11th.
  14. Should be a great seminar! Anything from winning tournament strategies to boat rigging questions will be answered.
  15. It is certainly not a replacement for copper. It is just another application. I am certain it will have a different signature and applied action on the lure. Just like leadcore is different then copper. All it means is more rods on the boat.
  16. My wife has had 3 Rotor cuff surgeries she still shoots her bow. She cant do as many practice shots as she wants but she still hunts with it. Take a very serious look at Elite bows. They have the best draw cycle for anybody with shoulder problems. She also owns a crossbow but she much prefers to hunt with her bow. You'll be looking at reducing your draw weight, but 50lbs will kill anything in NY. Good Luck and rehab it just like they tell you to. It is a long process.
  17. There was no real consideration for wind again. The docks they are proposing for Charter row will get hammered on any west/north wind. I was hoping to see a new break wall somewhere to help with that. Also by moving the launch to the other side of Breitbeck park are they putting in a second cleaning station for that? There concepts need some work. I forwarded all my comments yesterday and a few other guys reached out to me yesterday and are responding accordingly. There are some good concepts but no improvements to helping with surge and wave action. It is what the south shore of the lake needs however.
  18. Exactly the same problem for me. I like the lead ones but the coppers were awful. I lost to many deer before I got smart.
  19. Take those powerbelts and throw them in the trash. TC Shockwaves or the Barnes. Powerbelts have horrible performance when they hit the deer as well as not flying well. I use triple seven powder as well. Good Luck
  20. I was thinking about this on the way home. They use the 2yr olds for this. In mother natures world those fish typically would lose the battle and don't get to fertilize eggs. In the manipulated world they are being used. Makes you wonder if it affects size or running as a Jack.
