Call the Factory service center at 1-800-214-0141. They will have the answer. Unfortunately the lifetime warranty doesn't transfer to the second owner. If you don't get anywhere with them shoot me a PM and we can go from there. -

For Sale : USA Garmin 4212 for sale
Tall Tails posted a topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
I have a Garmin 4212 that is 3 years old in perfect condition. I am selling it with my Garmin network and the Lake Ontario chip a $450.00 value. This is a multifunction unit you can add any network device that Garmin has from Fishfinder capability to radar. I used it as my stand alone GPS but I had it tied in to my Furuno 585 thru the NEMA network. The sale will include: Sun Cover Power Cord GPS puck Garmin Network cables Lake Ontario chip for enhanced depth contours trunion bracket for dash mounting I also have the templates for flush mounting Instruction Manual Price is 1500.00 OBO this is a 2800.00 dollar unit new. I would prefer not to ship but we can talk about it. I drive from Cortland to Utica everyday so I could meet somebody on that route. I am in Oswego every weekend. Text me at 607 423 4415 or shoot me a pm if you are interested. Thanks for looking. -
I agree but from past experience it doesn't really matter. All surveys have in the first paragraph "it is in the opinion of". I bought a boat out of Florida that I entrusted an accredited surveyor to do his job. Even told him specific things to look at. Boat showed up as a bunch of termites holding hands... There is zero recourse. Even had my lawyer look into it. It all comes back to that first line in the survey. Sure I should have spent the 500.00 in a plane ticket to personally look at the boat but I still hired the surveyor to serve a purpose and it turned out bad. Accredited or not it still comes down to the person...

Cause the torpedo wire is junk...2 probes and 3 sharks broke before I got smart. Bad twists...

In this case the person making the real money decisions is Central office in Albany. The Director for Fisheries and Wildlife is Patricia Riexinger. The email listed for her, is the general fish and wildlife email. So real transparency here....

All legitimate clubs are part of Federations in NYS from that they send representatives to the Conservation Council they are the DEC advisory board. You want to make a difference I would encourage you all to join your local club get involved and become the federation representative for that club. The president for the Conservation council lives in Oswego county so there is regional representation. He was not at the State of the Lake the other night......Squeaky Wheel gets the grease!!! ELOSTA has been looking for a federation rep for 3 years. There are a lot of keyboard jockies out there but very few who step forward to a leadership role. You want change you have to get involved!! I am sure LOTSA has the same positions for the western end of the state.

Great turnout in Pulaski last night. We had 137 on hand. One of the biggest crowds in recent memory. I am digesting all my notes today but I came away with being even more leary of our hatchery situation. This recirculation idea may not be the best. They already have enough issues at the Salmon River hatchery and adding a recirc system will only compound those issues. Funny they have the money for the recirc system but not to spend on the wells which by the way wont get any more attention until the summer of 2016..... I have stopped thinking about asking for more and just pushing to maintain what we have....

Here is an update and I will add to it as I get more info. We will have raffle tickets for a Lowrance HDS Gen 2 touch Fishfinder/GPS combo for sale at a 1.00 each. Proceeds from that and the 1.00 entry help us send kids to DEC camp every summer. Doors will open at 9 am. Capt. Pete will be speaking at 11 am sharp. I am anticipating a very large crowd so you will want to be there early to get a seat. We will do our best to accommodate everybody. Fat Nancys has stepped up with some Great show specials- They will have a Brown Trout rod and reel special for 89.99 Bay Rat Lures for 7.99- These are the hottest new stick baits to hit the market! ProTrolls buy 3 get 1 free Okuma Cold Water rods buy 3 get 1 free Custom Painted Flashers 9.99 And they will also have with them all the New Stinger Flashers and Spoons for sale. ELOSTA looks forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!
