  1. We all like to do a little PR for our favorite brand. Good Luck with your search and remember everything is for sale at the right price if you see a vessel you like. I know a guy who stole a gorgeous Tiara just by asking the owner a few quick questions. I didnt mean to hijack your thread.
  2. There will always be haters! Most dont know Tiara's rot in the forward cabin windows. Sea Rays rot on the seam in the bow and there stringers are worse then Baha's but a Baha is a poor mans yacht and has gotten more press. I know just as many Pennys that have rotted as Sportcrafts and Baha's and Sea Rays. It is just what guys want to be honest about. Next time you are at the marina stop over to my boat I will show you a couple very solid hulls in a Baha and then we can take a walk and I can show you some boats that have had some serious work done. Your jaw will drop! Oh and bring your tape measure!
  3. Being partial to Baha's you should consider the one for sale on here. If it is sound and does not have the M4A Volvo transmissions it is a better boat! Yea I said it Penny owners LOL!!! Dont send the lynch mob! You will not here the hollow sound the hull makes when a wave hits it. Seating arrangement for a cooler on deck is better. Taller gunnels as well. The only thing you would need to add is oversize rudders. But you would have to do it on the Penny anyway. There is not a better trolling boat in the trough. There is also more deck space square footage.
  4. Big Thank You to everyone who is involved in running this tournament! It was a very well run tourny as usual. Already looking forward to 2015!
  5. FINAL standings from the teams who are competed in the Lake Ontario Championship Series for 2014. Recap -The winning team was determined by adding their top 4 individual days of fishing (Each day gets scored separately in a 2 day event) -Each team must participate in at least 3 lake wide events out of 5 total -At least one score from a minimum of 3 events must be counted to qualify. -Due to the logistics of ports and the emphasis on holding a "lakewide cup" one event west of Sodus must be one of three fished. https://www.facebook...385407701604030 ~Follow us on Facebook for more info~ Events listed as follows: Potential placement / Team / WHI / Day 1 Oak / Day 2 Oak/ Day 1 Oswego / Day 2 Oswego / Sodus Day 1 / Sodus Day 2/ATOMMIK Invite. 6. I put new ones in every season. Just not a an issue I want to deal with. Try that first.
  7. Sounds like you may have a couple fins broken off on your impellar. When was the last time you changed those out?
  8. There was 2 boats and 1 sank. It was following to close in 6 to 8 footers and smashed the windshield out from what I remember. Trout One picked up the captain. I dont remember who the other responding vessel was on scene. There was a 3 year old girl on board as well probably why I remember it so well it was gut wrenching listening to it play out. We responded as we were close by but there were other boats closer that pulled everyone from the water. They were all lucky there was a tourney that day or I dont think anyone would have been out there... The more I think about it. They may have been Canadian or from the thousand island area.
  9. I sent you an email. Maybe guys here can remember the year. I think this is the one that went down in 2000 or 2001 during the pro am.
  10. Rampages dont get any sexier!! I am in love with the 34 Express. That will be my next ride. Congradulations!!!!!!
  11. https://www.dot.ny.gov/nypermits/repository/PERM30.pdf There are hour restrictions and time restrictions. They may even dictate your route for you. Also flag requirements.
  12. I think it is great we are getting a store in NY but now we will have to pay sales tax on all catalog orders....
  13. I still have all 3 available as the guy who wanted them never came thru.
  14. It is Chevy block with Volvo parts. Anyone who works on a chevy can fix it. Parts just usually cost a few dollars more.
  15. Give yourself time to stop at the watering holes in between.. Dont get dehydrated on the way
  16. You wont want to miss this one! If you have wondered how to catch alewives on a rod and reel our speaker is going to show you. The meeting is at the VFW in Mexico NY under the pavilion and it starts at 7pm sharp. The VFW is located on Rt 3 North headed out of Mexico. It is on the left side as you are heading north. They will also share with you how to preserve them after you catch them. I unfortunately will not be there due to a scheduling conflict. Brian
  17. Be sure you deploy the bag on the side of the boat that your prop is spinning other wise it will pull your boat sideways. In otherwords a standard rotation prop is spinning to the right. Bag in on the right. You may not need a bag if you can go slow enough and also adjust your carb properly. My motors idle comfortable at 550 rpms and with edelbrock carbs they sip fuel. No kicker needed. I can also with one bag in get my 9000lb boat to go 1.0. It will take some effort but you can get it to do what you want.
  18. Will it not slow down enough? What is the slowest speed it will go with the gear deployed?
  19. Yes as long as you do not violate the NYS hook point total.
