  5. Nice job! It was Good fishing in the Eastern basin over the weekend! The steelhead limit in the lake is part of your salmon and trout limit. Only in the tribs is one. Took this from the regs for you. "3 in any combination not to include more than 1 rainbow trout (or steelhead) in the tributaries" I could have waited till after you fished the A TOM MIK Challenge this weekend...
  6. TTT just a heads up guys also cant return into the harbor until after 11..
  7. Thanks for your effort Rick!
  8. I still haven't seen the data that says they will raise the water 18in. They are raising it to "mean" water depth earlier and later. There is a tremendous amount of inaccurate data floating around on this issue. You need to look at the entire chart Longline posted not just a yr or 2. [ Post made via Android ]
  9. They're talking 2 1/2" higher in April and 2" higher in October, nowhere near 18" overall level. The water level is still regulated. It's not going back to the unregulated era. We had a presentation at our ELOSTA meeting recently and that 2.5 in of water is what Save the River is saying. Can anybody find it in writing about the 18in increase. That is one of the reasons I posted this question in the thread as I am trying to educate myself on this.
  10. Does anybody have a link to the actual proposal? Thanks
  11. Please correct me if I am wrong because i am just looking at this the last week or so but all BV7 does is keep the water at its normal level earlier and a bit later in the season. Which to me means a longer boating season. So for instance the water will come up a little earlier and stay up a little longer. It by no means increases the level over "normal levels". Save the River is all for this plan but organizations like Save Sodus is against it. Please explain your position. Like I said I am trying to educate myself on this issue not start a war. Simply "fact" finding is all.
  12. Same, made 2 claims with them last year and I was very happy!
  13. You need to recharge the chip. Look online and find the charging adapter, plug it into your computer and download the charge direct to your chips. Paul you should try the new recharge app for your smartphone it works thru the wifi dumaflachy adapter! works slick!
  14. So far so good with my Scotties. Have yet to run it below 120ft but I will post as soon as I do. Brian
  15. Need to know what kind of boat and motor setup you have? Also hydraulic or cable steer?
  16. So here is an update after 10 days with this unit. I would recommend this unit to anyone with a 8000lb boat or less it does the job on my Baha. It keeps the boat where I need it. I am gong to have Kevin install the actual rudder reference for my setup because it will work that much better with my twin screws. The only negative is the noise but I knew I was going to have to live with it when I bought it. 2 thumbs up for the SPX-5R!!!
  17. I may have some pics of some chips I took one time on the Dreams Come True...Now where did I put those.. [ Post made via Android ]
  18. Since your sharing let's see the pics of those custom e chips? [ Post made via Android ]
  19. If there is an external speaker plugged into the back of your VHF you wont hear anything out of the internal speaker. If I had to take a stab at your problem I would bet there is a line running from your VHF to your stereo and it is being used as the external speaker. I actually like that idea. Good luck!
  20. Point the rod at the board and steady retrieve. [ Post made via Android ]
  21. I am having a Raymarine SPX-5R installed on my Baha. This unit has been redone since it was a Sportpilot. Those are the units that had the issues. I did lots of research when trying to decide on which way to go. www.thehulltruth.com has LOTS of info. These guys live in warmer climates and use there boats a lot more then we do and have a lot of positives to say. I also talked with 3 captains who installed this unit and they all have good things to say. I didnt want to replace my drive system so Raymarine is the way to go. Also if you have a certified NEMA installer do the job you get a better warranty and factory support. Good Luck with your choice. I bought my unit from Kevin Yerge at the Wilson Boatyard he is also doing the install.
  22. Dahls for Breakfast!! Best around I believe its in Scriba. You wont need lunch...
