  1. Just heard from Beth the Little Salmon River Challenge is the 23 of July.
  2. Franks is great outfit to deal with! I ordered some spoons overnighted to Olcott once 2 days before a pro-am. I was on the phone with the women making the order and I told her what we were doing, she said I should try a variation of one of the spoons I was ordering and she threw a few in with the order. Long and short of it, the spoon she threw in won the Don Johannes tourney for us and is now a go to tourney spoon for us.
  3. Here is my favorite price on the Berts. I use them and like them a lot! http://www.franksgreatoutdoors.com/fish ... custom?p=3
  4. I have lost signal at 35 miles due north of Rochester before. Other then that never had a problem with Verizon service.
  5. I like the "togue" reference! I cut my teeth on them on Sebec Lake till I was about 12. Thats where I got the trolling bug!!
  6. Have you considered approaching your insurance company with this? Just a thought to ease the pain a little. What was the cause of the blow up?
  7. I would post a thread here www.thehulltruth.com Yamaha happens to be a site sponsor and this board is a worldwide board!! It will get noticed..
  8. I got a letter from Niagara county in the mail the other day and caught me totally of guard myself...... Also the East end registration date is June 1st. It says all entries can be done on the website. None of the ports this year are able to take entries by hand.
  9. Are you sure your braid is spinning on the spool and not allowing you to reel? Electrical tape on the spool will prevent this.
  10. Remember when it comes time! http://nation.foxnews.com/culture/2011/ ... ne-factory Not against putting americans to work but......at what cost... I have said before putting these on a farm in the middle of nowwhere I can handle. BTW there are 3 local coal fired power plants being moth balled in the next year due to lack of demand....
  11. That away Glenn, Break em down early and then build them back up! No Mercy for the weak in the back of the boat!
  12. If you lift your engine hatch you still have no access to the underside anywhere? I have had to use a 24in socket extension to reach mine. Not fun but do able. I would look into a mounting system that is removable. Trackstech and Berts have great options.
  13. I would look for a couple 45 Okuma's. You can use penn 330's as well. You can fit 100' on a Penn 320.
  14. Walker makes a data cable that has a inner core to carry signals for the camera. This also works for all units requiring coated cable... Call Chris at St. Peters he is a site sponsor and ask him about it. We will be running this on our Depth raider this coming year.
  15. I would expect nothing less of you Glenn! Nice Fish!!
  16. I had great luck with a shoot thru hull transducer on a X19 LCX on a 25 amberjack I owned. It was mounted between the twin I/O's and the spot where it was mounted was ground down. It was a great picture, I would say almost as good as my thru hull I have in my current boat. One thing to consider is do you want or need surface speed and temp? You will need an external transom mount sensor to add those features with a shoot thru. I would do some research and look into an airmar transducer as they are the best and almost all manufacturers have airmar build there transducers. If I had to choose however drill the hole and mount the transducer. Done correctly and there are no after affects. Call Jim at BOE Marine in Maryland he is the expert in transducers and electronics. 866 735 5928 www.boemarine.com Good Luck

  19. I Voted for O-Town! My new home starting this year for mid june thru september! We are very much looking forward to it. First Class Marina's, Top flight mechanics and access to everything you need is the reason we moved from the little salmon. Short runs to deep water is attractive. Granted we get the weather, but there is always fish to catch. Dont get me wrong I love the West end of Lake O!! But my heart will always be an East Ender!
