  4. Anybody know what frequency the Fishhawk is? I have 50/200 on my Furuno, and I am adding a Garmin GPS but installing a thru hull as a back up FF and am thinking about an 83kh transducer for that. I am installing a fishhawk as well and want to make sure it wont interfere. Thanks Brian

  11. Yesterday while hunting I had an opportunity to harvest an Albino doe. Her nose was pink and I couldnt get an exact look at her eyes but she was totally white. I was texting a few friends about this deer after I saw her the first time and they were all telling me not to shoot as it is considered bad luck.. Well she returned later in the morning and well I decided to try and take her however my loader decided to have wet powder instead... Now it has started a debate with my friends and myself as to "if I should have tried to harvest this animal or just enjoyed the moment". I am interested in hearing opinions on this issue. Thanks, Brian

  13. Not big enough for all the Beer thats consumed!! This boat is a fish catcher!!! I happen know the previous owner pretty well!! This boat needed a kicker and thats what Jim added, it makes this boat a perfect trolling platform for the weekend angler!!!!
  14. Hey Pete guess he didnt have the right attractor in front of it when the sun was out!!
  15. NICE FISH!!! I bet you like the weather forecast right now!!! LOL!!!
  16. I saw one happening at the Gander in Cicero in October and January. It was on the poster board out front of the store. You need to prove 365 hrs of Boating hrs in 3 years. You can prove it with a boat registration and hour documentation or Another captain has to sign off saying you have that many hrs on the water. This is the guy who can answer your questions and take the headaches out of applying for your license. He is the MAN!! www.cglicense.com
  17. Trust me no one wants to see me in chaps!!! Unfortunelty our Charter book has us very tied up that weekend. We had to make a decision in July right after the pro ams, I didnt feel we cold put a competative enough team together for that one. We send our Best to all the teams competing in the Scotty!!!!!
  18. NICE fish Glen!! I hope its making a trip to your wall!!
  19. Thank you all!!! It was a very well run tourney from the Saiffs to the Local Chamber of Commerce. For there first attempt at a major tourney it was very well run. I was amazed at the local support from the vendors and there donations of gear. I honestly thought our fish would never hold up. We didnt even take a picture of Mar holding the fish. Marlene is going to be keeping the helmet for pro am tourney fishing with me!! Landshark I wish I would have introduced myself that day as I heard you say you were from deruyter and I thought that was you!! Congrads to you on your 2nd place as the fishing was very challenging all weekend! As far as who is the best looking you wont get any argument out of me! Marlene puts up with a lot during our tourneys and she deserved to catch that fish after watching lots of fish being caught all year at the wheel during tourneys and charters. I couldnt ask for a better partner!
  20. There is a 4210 with my name on it at the end of the season with Sirus weather overlay. I have played with a few of these units and are far and away the best GPS on the market. As a stand alone unit I dont think you can go wrong and with the updated software package the mapping is second to none. Go to the www.hulltruth.com and read what these guys have to say that use this stuff everyday. Very High marks Garmin is the GPS leader no doubt. I am however keeping 585 as my primary fishfinder. I am a fan of buttons versus touch screen or I would consider the 5210 myself.
