  10. I have also heard good things about United Marine. Keep in Mind NY mandates us to have a 1m in Liabilty coverage... There are very few Companys who cover Charter boats. I believe only 3 or 4 in the country....

  13. The GP-7000/NT is a GPS/WAAS plotter designed for a variety of vessels desiring video plotting capabilities. With the GP-7000 series, you can see the highly accurate position of your boat on the chart. The GP-7000 series has four display modes: Course Plot, Nav Data, Steering, and Highway modes. The course plot mode is useful for obtaining general information about surrounding sea areas. The Nav data mode clearly shows important navigational information with large text, which is easy to see even from a distance. The steering mode and highway mode assist the operator in following a predetermined route. The GP-7000 series uses C-Map/NT+ MAX charts. These charts provide navigational information including water depth, contours, coastlines, lighthouses, buoys, etc. The use of the SD cards facilitates the management of the expanded chart data. GP7000/NT Specifications: *High-performance GPS/WAAS receiver *Sunlight viewable 7" TFT bright color LCD (wide 16:9 aspect ratio) *Compatible with C-Map NT+ chart cards *Dual SD card slots for memory and chart cards (Conventional SD cards can be used for waypoint/route backup. 14. I would rather be us than them. Our Bureau of Fisheries does not support the proposal. These guys in the face of a lot of adversity have given us a pretty consistant world class fishery . I would think they know just a little bit. I had a great conversation with a region 7 director the other evening at a Federation presidents dinner and didnt hear anything of the sort....I was more interested in discussing with him why we have 10in alewives and the reasons behind us not stressing the bait pop in Lake O... I think a few capts here will agree with me that our stocking efforts are not what they should be. We should not be seeing 10in alewives in our lake period.... As far as a 3 rod rule it doesnt change a thing with bag limits in place. DEC doesnt tell me how many arrows I can carry in my quiver to deer hunt but they sure do tell me how many deer I can shoot... Think about it for just a minute.......
  15. Wouldnt ever think of putting it out even when its flat calm high sun.
  16. Just goes to show what QDM can produce The farm this buck was taken on is over 2000 acres and has practiced QDM for over 10 years! They have a lot to be proud of!
  17. The unfortunate thing with these u tube clips is they are drafts and the show was cut from them...... The first show was well done but different then the clips above.
  18. There are a few places like Jeff said, I get mine at Bass Pro. If you want to try em make sure you change the pads to offshore pads, they will last twice as long. They also take awhile to break in, so I try to break in a bunch of pads every spring!
  19. Scottys for trout, Capt Jacks for Kings.
  20. Marlene had the same unit on her boat before she sold it. I found it very easy to use. I knew nothing about operation and I picked it up very quickly. This is a nice unit at a great price.
  21. If we could just get some ice on Owasco.....
