When fishing glow spoons in the summer right at first light, do you guys run the full body glow spoons or will a spoon with one strip of glow tape work just as well??? I have been reading that some of these "super glow" glow spoons are actually too bright and scare off the kings??? I have always run the full glow body's but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't be.

Does anybody have the results of the tournament??

can you run magnum spoons as free sliders or cheaters??? I have always run small spoons for cheaters but have read some post that people are using mag spoons???? Thanks.

Glow green or White and green dot spin doctor with many different types of flys. Green glow, green crinkle, My favorite....the hammer flys, especially the glow hammer. glow big fin. everybody has there own favorites. If you go to attomiks web site, he has a lot of the hot combos together. Spoons......my favorites are the green and blue dolphins. The new UV stinger patterns have worked really well for me on trout and salmon. I see a lot of west end reports that use the 42nd spoon and spinny. I have not run it yet out of Oswego. We will be up Monday, I was really hoping to stay away from combat trolling in tight along the salmon river mouth. I enjoy deep trolling for kings more . Of course we have to make it through the hurricane here in Mass first. Damn hurricane

The big northeast wind forecast Sunday from the hurricane. Will it drive temps up or down in the Mexico bay area??

Speaking of torpedoes. I have two that are painted black and one that is just plain lead color. Does anybody add any color tape or flash to them to help attract more salmon?? Or are they fine on there own?

I run 15lb torpedoes off my probe rigger now and it tracks great. Last year I had the 10 lb torpedoes and it wasn't enough weight. very little blow back with the 15.

I fish for them here in Mass as a warm up for trolling kings in lake O. They like the cold water as well so it will be tough for you with out a temp probe. I usuall find the 55 degree water and set up my spread through that temp zone. Orange and gold broken bac rapalas of down riggers works best for me. What lake are you fishing???

I run 30 lb main line on my rigger reels. Do I need a fluro leader for the spin doctors or can I just run my regular main line to the spiny??

How to you guys rig your flys on the leader?? Do you put the head with the red twine on it facing the hooks or facing tward the flasher??
