  1. Good job Pete ! You deserve a giant like that. Jigging is a great, undiscovered way to catch Lakers. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  2. Pap, Here is a pix of the components in the EV 100. The gray “Raymarine” control box is mounted in my glove box. The round disc is mounted near the bow of my boat, inside, exposed to the sky. It acts as the “antenna “. The display unit is mounted near my helm. It is used to control the unit. Mine is set to display a compass heading in degrees. The other piece is the hydraulic pump. It is hooked into the hydraulic lines that are used to turn the main motor. My kicker is attached by a rod to the main. The one on my boat is not connected to my sonar or gps (Hummingbird). I simply use it to go in a straight line. Making turns using the unit is done by turning the knob on the display unit. I think they are about $1300 for the full assembly. I paid about $600 to have it installed. If I had to do it again, I would have bought the EV 150, but they weren’t available when I bought mine. The 150 has a larger hydraulic pump. The 100 works fine for me, but I’m a “bigger is better” kind of guy. If your near Watertown, come and take a look at the one on my boat. Rusty Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Nice fish AuGrabber. Since others have asked, here’s the other fish drawing he has available. Most are about 12”X 15”. B&W are $95 shipped, color $125. $ 10 off if picked up in Watertown with cash Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. That’s a good question, probably Hank from L&M can answer it better than I. I do believe there is a hydraulic pump that is included with the Raymarine unit. They come in different sizes. The one I use works when the main motor is shut off, and the kicker is on. Great unit for the solo fisherman. The Raymarine can also be connected to a certain brand of GPS unit, not sure which one. By connecting it to the GPS, you can troll in several different ‘patterns’, S pattern, figure eight, circle, to various waypoints, pretty robust unit. I just use it to go in a straight line while I’m setting gear, or am fortunate enough to have to reel in a fish. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Sorry Pap, I don't know anything about the TR1. I had a Raymarine EV100 autopilot installed on my Starcraft - I love it. I do a lot of solo fishing. Good luck. Rusty

  9. Yes, he’s quite the gentleman, great lover of the outdoors. Many North Country people I know have more than one of his pieces framed in their house. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  10. Those "hidden" images and words are a trademark of the artist. As far as I know he includes them in all his work. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. Thanks Sterling, I was thinking the same thing and was trying to avoid that whole file sharing thing. I’ll give it a whirl tonight. Rusty Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  12. I’ve tried a couple of different was to get a clearer photo to attach, but can’t seem to get it to happen. Any suggestion? The pix I’m trying to attach is very clear. Thank - Rusty Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  13. Howdy all, A fellow I know from the North Country recently finished this drawing of a walleye. He’s not real well versed in e-commerce, so I offered to see if I could sell a few online for him. The size of the paper they are printed on is 11” X 15 1/4”. There is a boarder of approximately 1”, making he drawn portion about 10” X 14” He has a very few larger prints of the same drawing. I don’t have the exact dimensions, but are approximately 14” X 19” The price for the regular size print is $90.00 delivered in the US. The large print is $ 125 delivered. I prefer PayPal, but if your not in a hurry, and can wait for a check to clear before shipping, I will take a check. $10 discount if paying with cash, and picked up in person in Watertown NY. PM me if interested, Thanks for looking, Rusty Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Was out of Stony Creek with the fleet this morning. Did 5. One on FF, one on 300 copper with a spoon, the rest on riggers at 90' with spoons. Biggest was 15?, others smaller. Didn't have a scale. Rusty Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. It's gotta be a little nerve wracking flying the drone over open water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. Thanks for the report. I tried getting out Sunday morning from Stoney Creek. ( first time from this launch). After I got out into the open lake, I decided the quick 2 footers were more than I wanted to play in. Turned around and headed in, never wet a line. Guess I gotta learn to read a marine forecast. 21. Jig stick, I don’t have an answer for ya right now, just want to let you know I feel your pain. I had the same system installed last year, and find the instructions a little less than user friendly. I did get it working acceptably last year, but the unit has apparently reset itself after disconnecting the battery for the winter. If I get it figured out, I’ll let you know. Rusty. 23. Howdy all from Chaumont bay. First trip of the year- beautiful day. I'm using the Hummingbird 1157 C, but there is no chip in it. I'm looking for suggestions and recommendations. I'll probably only be fishing Lake O, perhaps some of the Indian river lakes. Thanks in advance ! Rusty

  25. That's a phenomenal deal. The Minn Kota is $2K itself. I bought a 2016 Fishmaster in Canada a couple of years ago for more than twice what this one is listed for. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
