Did some small kings in 160 fow down 25-38. Then hooked into this nice brown on a SS green dolphin down 29 screamed out some line before we pulled him in. Im the only one with a derby ticket........so.......it is what it is. I'm just glad Andraya got to fight him. She was very excited. First thing she says is....This is going on the wall...ok honey? No complaints here. My digital scale locked in at 15 lb 3 oz once back at the dock. Anyway Temps were very cold inside and out. We had 52 down 25 and 40 down 50 Good green water out front and to the pump house. Good luck if you get out. ====================
  4. John, good report! Sunday was the same for us. We did 80-110 with good temps down 56. Has been a great King bite!! Congrats on the big ones! Makes me think what the fall LOC will bring in.....
  5. Messages were left for both pm's on the day they were made. Not one called me back. The rigger was sold yesterday. Thank you.
  6. Jeff, Yes, kings were mixed in. Most came from the wires. Devils nose is at the west end of hamlin beach. Follow the beach line till the end and you have found the nose. Chris.
  7. John, I agree the temps were up very high. As soon as we moved east off the nose close to the pump house it was 65 degrees down 38 feet and 59 degrees at 56 feet. Got a couple of steelhead in that 65 temp. Currents were not as bad as they have been to. Marked lots of bait at the nose as well. I hope it stays that way for a while. lol
  8. Sean, Thank you. We found a set that same day. Got lucky. Thanks again. Chris

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 7/10 Time on Water: 7-noon Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 18 Total Boated: 13 Species Breakdown: Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Fishing is still hot off of sandy. We motored right to devils nose this morning and set up in 140 fow. Side Riggers with mags parked at 38 immediately fired off with steelhead. Action was non stop! Corner riggers at 56 and 65 brought in coho and steelhead.stinger's in gator and orange gator were productive. Wires out 240 and 280 with green dolphin spin-doc and fly were on fire with kings and coho. As well as the E-pro mountain dew with a siggs rig. 10 color core with silver green mags took plenty as well. The nose and west of the nose was the spot. 140-165 East troll worked the best. Down temps were 59 at 38 feet and 45 at 56 feet. 80-100 feet down showed 42 degrees. Surface still a consistent 72. Great day to be on the water. ====================

Found good green water with good temps from170-225.pump house and a little west of the nose. Surface was 65-72. down temp in 170 was 54. At 220 we had 45 down 60. All but one came from the riggers. Short leads of 8-15 feet was the trick with silver/green mags parked at 56,64 and 75. One came from the 200 copper with an epro/siggs rig green glow combo. Looks like things are once again starting to set up. Congrats to the winners and everyone who fished the oak this weekend! Finally had some good weather. 13. West of "The nose" coho and kings. They make you work for them but they are there. Early AM. Copper,Leadcore and riggers with blk/grn mag's worked well for us the other day. Of course the lakers are hanging around the bottom in 50-80 fow. good luck and have fun!
  14. They work very well for any length copper and lead core. Planes off to the side very nice. Worth the investment.
  15. I recieved an e-mail today from a friend that forwarded this to me. Take a look and you be the judge on the location. This would be a record breaker I think. Very cool to look at anyway. For those of you who don't know where long pond is, it's a beautiful resort and pond in Greece, New York .....probably the biggest nearby center would be North Gate Plaza. No one will ever see me swim in Long Pond again!! This is NOT a fish story ! Its a new record Northern Pike in Greece, New York The man was fishing and caught a 36" Pike. As he was reeling it in, a 56" - 55 lb. Pike tried to eat it !!!!! He landed them both in the same net! The last picture is unreal.
