  1. ended 1 for 3, just a laker. The 2 we lost felt like lakers as well. Not going to waste time tomorrow Was anyone in the group off Webster this morning when the a$$hole in the fast boat decided to run through the middle of the pack? He passed us less than 30 feet off our Port side, good thing we didn't have our boards out.
  2. Just pulled a nice mid 20 laker. Not really what we are looking for but better than nothing
  3. I'm going to have to stick with this is the worst fishin in years..... 👎ðŸ¿
  4. Good luck, Spent 5 hours out there and mangaged 1 skipper. Fished 100-300 fow west of the river. We went west because we spent 4 hours east yesterday and only got 1 Some of the worst fishing out of Roc in a long time
  5. They don't want a LT to win the Grand Prize
  6. What depth are you running? The other main issue that we always have with ours is the connection between the antenna and the wire to the display. We have reterminated it and it works better than it did from the factory When ours starts to act weird we spray the antenna with the hose (or drape a damp rag over it) and it starts working again. Good luck the are finicky when they want to be
  7. Outstanding! Glad you and others will get your stuff back ðŸ‘
  8. Although not in Rochester check Warrens in Sodus Point. They have a lot of Blood Run products hanging on the wall
  9. We like our Okuma Pro GLT 8'6" Leadcore/Copper rod . We also use the same rod on our wire and they are fantastic.
  10. We were hearing about this fish on the radio this morning. Would love to see the picture!
  11. I understand that they are not paid. I always understood that the Summer Derby was, by weight station hours. But that the Agreed hours for the fall derby are 9AM - 8PM. Or am I misunderstanding this "rule" and it is strictly by the hours of the weight station. 10. Agrees that the Weigh Master must weigh in all fish entered in the LOC Derby at an official LOC Weigh Station on the day caught. Agrees to these weigh station hours: Summer Derby hours vary by weigh in station, PLEASE check with the weigh in station for hours. For the 2015 Fall Derby Weigh in hours are 9Am to 8PM August 21st to September 6th. September 7th, 9AM to 1:00PM. Derby Ends at 1:00.
  12. I thought weight stations had to be open until 8PM for the fall derby?
  13. Does anyone know if they are able to look up a pass and reproduce the LOC pass? I lost my captains pass, I inadvertently though it out when we cleaned the console out under the seat or put it somewhere really safe to not lose it. I email them but did not receive a response. Has anyone been able to get a replacement or am I up the creek and need to fork over another $100 Thanks Todd
  14. Who says they are exempt? As they are also motorized vessels when the sails aren't up
  15. You sure about it being $40 "After consultation with industry and boating safety groups, the bill was amended to give the state parks agency, which would enforce the law, the option of letting people take the course online. Courses range in price from free for online versions to about $150 for classroom courses" Why would anyone pay $150 if you can take it online for Free. Bogus! Anyone think that a online course will fix stupidity?
  16. Folks in May 2014 it is for those 18 and Under --- but will be phased in for ALL boaters over a few years. It does not say anything about grandfathering. No mention of the cost of the course. "Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the boat safety legislation into law on Friday. It will be phased in over several years, applying initially to anyone 18 or younger and eventually to all boaters. First-time violators could get a fine of $100 to $250" This is a terrible law, just another way "they" want to controller our lives and drain our pockets of our hard earned $$$. I wonder how much "law enforcement" will be out on the water harrassing for the certificate. Is there any exemption for Captains? I have already shown my competency to the Coast Gaurd, however I will not hold a New York State Boat Safety Certificate 8 hour course will not properly teach how to operate a boat and if anyone thinks this will work you are foolish.
  17. We have Mag 10s and use a 12# ball and 13# ridgeback rattler(sometime we use the 7# add on for a total of 20#)
  18. No set for us either, the initial hit sets it perfectly fine. Also like said this time a year the mouths are hard, be sure to have razor sharp hooks
  19. We use Accudepth Plus on our riggers and Sealines for the wire dipseys. They are good reels IMO. 2 years on all our reels and they are holding up fine. We do have a Tekota and the drag is horrible on it
  20. M&M Lakeside Marine 639 Phillips Road Webster, New York 14580 Office Phone: (585)265-3333 They do the work on our yamaha outboards
  21. temp seems right. We had similar temps out of Rochester
  22. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: OFF TRACK ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 8/31 Time on Water: 6am-2pm =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 8 Total Boated: 11 Species Breakdown: Kings, 1 Laker, 1 Brown Hot Lure: SpinDoc/Siggs/Attomik ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Hot king action off I-Bay. We had 44-51 down temp. Today was a hot wire bite weather we were letting it out, inside or outside of a turn the wire was smoking today! Crazy B*tch and Hog Wild were the hot spindocs with either a Siggs Jabenero or Attomik ProAm Live fly. White Nuclear took a couple hits, NK Mag took 2 hits. We unfortunately we lost the biggest fish less than a foot off the back of the boat due to a amateur net job(my fault). When i went to net the fish it spun down and i bumped its nose with the net. The line went slack and the fly cam whizzing towards me, the treble broke off. Gauging the size and width of the fish it was much larger than the 28's that we weighted in The majority of the large kings had fresh lamprey holes and one had the biggest lamprey i have ever seen. It had to be 15"+ we tried to grab it with the pliers but the fell off when the fish was flopping in the net Back at it tomorrow AM.
  23. Verizon iPhone works great on the lake. Wouldn't change it for anything Being able to keep an eye on Radar worked out great for us Sunday
