  2. Going to fish 4 of them It should be a great time. Sean
  3. I guess I should of read the first page, I see I am on Cayuga. Sorry Bob it looks like your on the West coast Seneca team It will be nice to meet some of you guys. Can two team members fish on the same boat? Sean
  4. The team part of the tournament should not be effected if some one cant fish a day, is this correct? I am shure I wont be able o make all of them so I dont want to mess anyone up. Thanks Sean
  5. I will fish either Lake but I have had several 5 fish limits on Cayuga over 50lbs, Cayuga is going to clean up this tournament. And to be honest I dont even know what team I am on HA HA
  6. Its warming up, was it cold when you filled it?
  7. Hi, I think the wires you are talking about are NMEA 0183, you could probably hook them together and they would work. A better option would be if your unit has the NMEA 2000 port on the back you just come off with a drop cable from each device to NEMA T connectors, then as you add more stuff to your boat autopilot, radar ex you just add more T connectors together and more drop cables and it will all work together and share info. I have my motors and all run threw NMEA 2000. If you need good info and parts for seting it all up shoot me a PM I got a guy you can call that will help you spend your money. Sean
  8. Browns 10 to 30 down start in 60 to 80 FOW then move out to 100 plus in Canandaigua. Browns on South end of Cayuga are in shallow 20 to 30 FOW. Canandaigua is nice you dont get all the boat trafic on the South end like Cayuga.
  9. Had it happen with new 4 stroke last year one of my fuel lines was sucking air at the tank. Also had it happen with an old two stroke once that had a bad fuel filter. If you pump the primer ball and it never gets hard you got air coming in at some point.
  10. The North end of Cayuga should be good any day now. The great salmon fishing at the South end of Seneca will crap out when the bait moves up and the fish spread out. The North end of seneca will turn on for lakers any time now. If you dont mind the drive the South end of Canandaigua for browns should be great the first part of April.
  11. Sounds good how do they work with copper?
  12. Hank are you using the Clipper Planer Board Releases from Amish Outfitters? If so how do they work, do you have to bring the board in every time a release goes off. Sean
  13. Thanks for the info guys. Sean
  14. Has any one got any info on the Scotty King of the Lake Tournaments yet? I checked the website and it looks like it is down. We plan on fishing the first one in St Catharines and I dont want to miss the registration date. Sean
  15. Thanks for the info guys, I see they have some good deals on wire on that site. Sean
  16. Hi Folks, I am installing my Big Jon electric planer reels. The wire for the switch is set up to be installed to the motor with wire connectors, then at the battery it uses standard two pole connectors, like what would be used on riggers for quick disconect. It would be a much better set up if big jon had a disconect at the planer motors. That way you could take the mast off without cutting wires. Where can I get two sets of two pole connectors for riggers / electric planer mast motors, so I can rig up my own quick disconnects. The big jon motors are running 14 awg for the power supply. All of the two pole connectors I found on line were only rated for 5amps. I was going to cut the cords off my old cannons but I desided I best not. Sean
  17. Guides On the Finger Lakes need a Coast Guard Lic all ready, so we also need the TWIC card. And we also need a NYS Guides Lic, and a Public Vessel Operators Permit. Which includes giving money to NYS Office of parks, and putting a big black PV sticker on your boat for the Park police. The last two items NYS Guide Lic and PV, I dont think are even needed by Captains on Ontario? What is the deal with that? I didn't even know about the PV permit untill I got blew in by some one this winter. I have all off the above, but it seams like over kill. Sean
  18. Thanks for the info.
  19. Question does every charter captin need the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or just the captain's working on Ontario. I could not find any info if the guys on the Finger Lakes need one. I know things can be different we need a NYS Guide Lic on Keuka Owasco EX. Thanks for the help Sean
  20. Bob, That sucks let me know how you make out. The last peace of my project wont be shipped until the end of the month. Sean
  21. Like Jason, I dont run snubbers on my wire dipseys. You want a good reel with a great drag and use good leader from the dipsey to the flasher. We never lost a dipsey rig last year off wire, but I check the wire all of the time one nick in the wire and its going to brake. Sean
  22. The 30 Rod Holders will give it away
  23. You guys get any salmon? nice job on all the fish
  24. Thanks Vince, I have guys asking about trips that clears that up for me Sean
  25. I figured thats how it worked. I managed to get two of them off this year, should be a great time. Thanks fo the help. Sean
