Elite Answer, QAD Ultra rest, pile drivers with Blazers, 100 grain Muzzys are my hunting implements this year but honestly my weapon of choice this year has been reading every book and magazine this off season that I could get my hands on and learning strategies of high vs low impact hunting, better stewardship of my land with creating cover/sanctuary, plans for food plots next year and making myself a better hunter through education. We'll see if it pays off...........good luck this year and as always thanks for your great hunting thread

Hey bud - even after you kill the leaves, the vines still are loaded with uroshiol which causes the rash. The leaves, the roots, the stems, vines..... you name it they all contain the uroshiol. Even the tree bark may have some on it after you remove the vines. IMO, the only way to do it would be to trim all the leaves and then cover yourself with a throw away Tyvek painter's suit, climb up the tree and retrieve your stand and find a different tree. It's ashame IMO that the "best bows" are 899-1200.00.......and that's without a quiver, rest, sights which will set you back an additional 500.00

Your comment only applies to lake trout and Atlantic salmon as u would need the fish intact so length can be determined. Otherwise you can fillet the other species as long as skin remains on the fillet Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
