  8. We have lost 3 probes minimum on the all out, one west of Oswego last year that should had a shark weight attached as well. We lost one deeper east of Oswego as well, again should have a shark attached. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. I have used the navionics hotmaps east previously and they are not that accurate in Lake Ontario. There is a specific Lake Ontario platinum card that is like $199 that is more accurate and contains contours way out. I have no experience with the plus other than on my iPhone. 12. Well I fixed my issue so I'll answer a couple questions from above in case anyone gets into the same situation. The fuse is a 1 amp glass fuse however the normal 1-1/4" glass fuses that you find at auto parts stores would not allow the spring loaded holder to close. I made it work (it will turn on and functioned) with a 1-1/4" 1 amp automotive fuse but I had to run electrical tape around the fuse holder to maintain the contact points. I didn't like the jury rig so I did some searching and then I asked the question on here. Today as it happens, I hit the new Runnings store in clay for the first time and low and behold they had a huge assortment of fuses including 1amp fuses made by battery doctor. The markings on the fuse are F1AL-250V. These measure 1-1/8" overall and are exactly what came out of the unit. Came in a pack of 5 for $2 so I have some extras as well. Thanks for the input and if anyone else breaks a fuse now we know where to find the replacements. Jason Henderson Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. My fuse went on my depth raider power cable. It's a 1amp glass fuse, problem is that all the automotive fuses are an 1/8"-1/4" too long to close the fuse holder. Anyone know where to get a shorter fuse? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Oneida 11/3

How late do they allow you to fish the shores at night?I thought they closed @ dusk.
  19. Can't see me using something like this with the amount of flies that we run on our boats. The entire rig is just coiled up in a bag. Tried that with ziplocks years ago and every leader is wadded when you pull them out in a rush, in rough seas and wind... For the price you could order one of King's Leader Lockers and keep the flies in shape. J
  20. I have a 15' Spey rod for sale built on a St.Croix SCII blank. This rod has tackled some very large kings here in NY and has made 2 trips to Alaska where I found it to be a little too much for silvers and reds. It was built with a "fade" effect guide wrap matching the honey brown color of the blank. With the purchase of a boat and a new job I just do not use this rod any more.. Looking to get $250 I do have an Okuma integrity reel and line that would allow you to test this rod or could be included in the sale for a deal. PM if interested.
  21. South shore access is very shallow especially late in the year... if you have never launched there it can be tough for some boats. I refuse to access there anymore after a couple incidents a few years ago. They dredge it but it does not seem to be deep enough, some others may have up to date status on depth there. Oneida shores on the south shore closer to the west end is a pay launch that has camping also. I think I was told that the launch is free to those that camp. North shore access is godfrey point state boat launch so it is free, I believe it is right accross from south shore launch. It has a nice parking lot, porta-johns and a nice ramp, just further for some to drive to get there.
  22. Is that all the info you can give? Would be nice to know if they were kings, browns, lakers, depth of water and lure depth. 9 fish is a decent day thou, nice job. j
