  1. I have a 1990 19.5 GLS I replaced the Live well hose on mine.I was able to replace the hose without removing the fuel tank.It has been a few years since I did it can't remember exactly how I did it.I think I was able to use a fish or stiff wire and feed it threw the small access hole in the front of the boat all the way back to where it drains out the transom. Then taped or twisted the wire around the new hose and was able to pull the new hose threw.I remember having problems getting the fish feed threw and pulling the new hose threw. After a couple of hours of contorting in some very uncomfortable positions and many choice words I prevailed.I replaced it with a thicker walled more flexible hose no problems since.
  2. Still have the 2 on the left.Speedmaster super high speed.
  3. 7 Shimano level lines sun faded but 100% functional, good clickers and drags.Great for spring Brown Trout or Walleye. The 2 on the left say Super High Speed(old line on them).5 on the right say Triton GT(all have newer Pline on them) $30 each or all for $175 plus shipping.
  4. 1 Never used Cannon Dual Axis Rod Holder. $70 plus shipping, can meet or deliver in the Rochester area. SOLD
  5. I fished the East end Friday ice was 7-10' everywhere I was. They are still running sleds and wheelers. Ice is as good or better than any ice I have been on locally this year. Hard to judge ice conditions or peoples mental status from your computer.
  6. I just recently bought the fishing hot spots chip.I am pretty happy with it so far.It has nationwide coverage , shows gravel areas and has some hot spots marked with fishing tips(species what baits and time of year) I believe for the elite 5 unit you have to get the older version E110. There is a limited amount of the older chips left in stock.I payed like $115 shipped I thought it was a good value.
  7. Fished Silver Lake today.North east end had 6'-8" every where I went.Fishing was poor few small Perch . Reports from the south end say 2.5-3"
  8. Species:Pumpkinseed, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Rock Bass, Walleye, Large/Smallmouth Bass, Tiger Musky, Chain Pickerel, Bullhead, Herring (cisco) White Chubsucker, Gold Shiner, Johnny Darter
  9. Looking to buy Navionics Hot Maps Premium East SD card (2009 or before) or Fishing Hot Spots Pro USA-Older version E110 also on SD
  10. Fished Canadice from 7:30-4:00 3.5-4" of ice.Tried in close for smelt for the tipups no luck.Headed out deep, landed 3 Lakers between 3 and 5 pounds.Several other hits caught all jigging. Ice was nice and black very little snow on top.
  11. Thanks Fish Hunter I took your advise and got a used Lowrance iFINDER H2O C with a card in it of all the lakes for a buck and a half. Can't beat that.Ice should be all firmed back up by the time it gets here and then it's game on.
  12. I would like to get a GPS for ice fishing that has good depth contours. I was thinking of getting one that takes an SD card like the Delorem pn 40 or 60. And using the Navionics Hot Maps so I could use it in my boat for my Lowrance lcx 38c hd. My Lowrance has a built in 30GB hard drive with the following info in it.(from the website) Preloaded with a wealth of exquisitely-detailed Lowrance electronic mapping and charts for coastal and inland navigation in and around the U.S. and Hawaii. Includes MapCreate USA Topo, U.S. Enhanced Lake Maps and Fishing Hot Spots PRO coverage with depth contours, plus data-rich NauticPath Coastal with Great Lakes coverage. Would the Hop Maps enhance my Lowrance or is most or all this info all ready in there? Or is there a better option for a hand held that will get me near the structure and not break the bank.(I don't have a smart phone to load apps so that is not an option)
  13. Better take this post down before Ray sees this.He will want to buffy troll for Wahoo off the swim platform
  14. Humminbird 798c si combo used one season maybe half a dozen times. NVB with built in Navioncs charts.$650.00
  15. Scott I am no pro on the river/bar.I have had some great days, good days, and some 0 days.Water clarity is one of the biggest factors. To muddy =few or 0 fish. Kwikfish work best with a south wind, when wind isn't fighting the current. On the Bar the drop into the trench is where I have always had the best luck.I prefer live bait preferably emeralds at the Bar but have had success with Kwikfish also. Some days the fish in the river are really on the move and it can take awhile to locate them. One day we fished from daybreak till an hour before dark without a bite covered most of the river. In the last hour we boated like 12 bows.Every drift we got at least 1 fish and several doubles.Stella has always been one of my favorite drifts.Sounds to me it was just poor conditions.Keep plugging at it your days will come. Thanks for the update. I have been getting the itch. Hopefully it will get scratched soon
  16. I have had a frabill one man for about 5 years now.It is pretty narrow, the material is thin but that is what I like about it the most.It pulls like a dream.I have used it hard and it is still holding up great.
  17. I have been told that the Gulf Coast is some of the saltiest water in the world. That is why Mercury test there outboards near Boca Grand.
  18. Fished Silver yesterday afternoon and this morning.Ice is holding for now.Fished the north end 3-4 inches of ice.Slow steady pick of Perch in 22-32' up to 9.5". Did about 30 before one this afternoon,Not real big but it beats cabin fever.Over 50 guys on the south end. Handful of guys on North end.Mid lake is unsafe.
  19. Bears are excellent fishers and it would look cool in the front of my boat I will go $25.
  20. Fished Silver yesterday on the North end 3" of ice, top 2" were white and brittle.2 or 3 hits with the spud and clean threw. When I came in edges were sinking and were very slushy from all the wind. Todays sun.temps and wind didn't make it any better I am sure.No one fishing the North end this after noon.Few people off the launch in close on the south end.I have not fished out of there but I am sure it is sketchy at best.Ice from the YMCA camp on the west side north to the golf coarse has only been froze for 2 or 3 days.Use extreme caution if venturing out.
  21. I have a Humminbird 798C SI combo used one season.I would sell for $650.00.
