    Yes it is a very nice layout and quite functional. I would have really considered this boat if it had more options. The problem is you have to go to 18 ft or larger to get the systems I prefer at a cost of 20 grand or more. If I was to look at it that way this boat is a good buy for the money considering the quality. What size Robalo are you getting this time around?

    The Fish Hawk is more money, but well worth it. There are reviews for it on this site if you search, but many on here will chime in with the pros and cons of each unit. I will never go back to a depth raider or subtroll (although they are out of business). There is a new one out now called the Smart Troll that looks very promising too. Again, you can research it here at LOU.

    Probably not since that is an option on this boat and he doesn't list it as being on the boat. Nice layout on this boat, but I don't understand how a fishing boat lacks both a washdown (which isn't even offered as an option) and a livewell (unless you order it as an option) which IMO are 2 essentials for a fishing boat.

    Yes. It's all about price too. Several on here at a much higher price that are newer and all are still for sale.

    Stan, give us some present pics. I assume there is a big improvement now.

    Yeah now that makes more sense. They were using OMC from 87-89 boats and switched to mercruiser in 1990. I believe merc bought them at the time? Anyway, making the change to mercruiser was the best thing he ever did. Lol.

    I see the engine is a Mercruiser. I thought 87 through 89 Bayliners were using OMC? Is the outdrive OMC or Mercruiser?
