  1. Most of your pics do not open when clicked? Can't get a closeup of the boat. I think you need to reload your pics again.
  2. Is your boat set up for trolling with downriggers and down speed and temp device, good fishfinder and GPS, dipsy diver set up etc... If not, hire a charter to take you out so you can learn all you can about this type of fishing offshore on Lake Ontario.
  3. Good ole Captain Rich. One of the few Charter Captains on this site (along with Yankee Troller) who freely gives out general fishing info to help fisherman find a place to start. You are to be commended Sir!
  4. Shoot.....If you can afford to buy that boat then surely you can afford to modify your system to handle it.
  5. It was so windy I spent part of the morning checking my boat lines and fenders to make sure everything was secure. I almost got blown off the dock and into the lake a couple of times. Lmao.
  6. You would have to be out of your mind to venture out on the lake on Sunday!
  7. Todd, I'll talk to my son later and see if we still have ours. I'll let you know if we do. I have a used Sub Troll head unit and probe if your interested in some back ups.
  8. My Penn Yan Intruder (which I also had moored and Wright's Landing) was the same year and same engine as this boat. It was quick to get on plane and It's a really nice set up for trolling. Really liked the EFI engine. No priming and warmup needed like you have to do with a a carb engine. Just turn the key and go. The only reason I sold it was for something much bigger and roomier. The guy I sold it to still loves it. Only thing I don't miss is the motor box, but to be honest, it's really not that intrusive after you get used to it. Very good price considering the complete structural rebuild and equipment that comes with it. Good luck selling it.
  9. Another nice finish for the Yankee Troller team. Good job Rick and crew. Seems like a lot of lost fish though? Do you guys normally drop that many fish per outing or was that the exception in this tournament?
  10. Chris...Fish 307 is about a 4-5 hour drive for you so don't bother. Take it to Screwy Louie's. You'll have it back in about week or so.
  11. Tiara is a solid boat that has an excellent fishing layout and is a good family cruiser with excellent accommodations for a family for weekend stays. I would characterize the Sea Ray Sundancer as more of a family cruiser that you can make into somewhat of a fishing boat. I'm sure it has been done, but it wouldn't be my preference for fishing. Whatever you decide make sure you get a thorough marine survey before buying. It'll be the best money you ever spent for peace of mind. Good luck in finding what you desire
  12. Saltwater and I/Os....Not a good combination! The only thing I don't like about the Amberjack are the I/Os. Did they ever make any with inboards?
  13. Ummmmmm. Don't they need to be at least 25 inches to keep?
  14. I'll take one. I'll pm you later about meeting this weekend in Oswego
  15. Agree with most of what you said except for the garbage? There is no reason for "leaving garbage all around" If a garbage can isn't available then take it out with you. That shouldn't be that hard to do.
  16. That's ok as long as they aren't "loving those baby browns".
