    Sounds like you had a great day trolling. I took my boy there yesterday trying to get him into his first Tiger so we spent the morning chucking lures in the north end. He hooked into a descent one but it ended up throwing the hook. Sounds like i should have been trolling!

    I run 20lb flea flicker and it minimizes them. I also check my lines every 45 mins to make sure they are clear of fleas.

    We dropped 2 nice kings in front of the plant tonight. Both on 300 copper with green gator SD and green crinkle fly. First in 140 fow and second in 209 fow. Good luck out there. The fleas are getting bad for sure.

    Nice! We fished for them last night til about 9 and couldnt get anything but smallmouths to hit. We covered a few spots too but the usual spots just didnt produce.

    I just noticed that my son posted this report. He was quite proud of his opening day accomplishments. He did catch some beauties! Love that boy! May need to create his own account now.

    Me my dad and papa went on Oneida lake for bass.We were planing to go to Shackleton shoals but we realized were a little back heavy.So we went to big bay and caught 2 small pickerel.After that we headed up the Oneida river there we caught 3 bass one was 4.25lbs and a perch. Then we got the water out of our boat we headed to Shackleton shoals and we caught 1 walleye and 2 more bass and we ended up with 5 bass 1 walleye and 1perch

    I went fishing there and caught about 75 Perch.About 20 of them were over 10 inches long.

    Fished Otisco with the family today with intentions of trolling for Tigers. After a couple passes up and down the east side of the lake we decided to throw some lures in the north end to see if we could find something to entertain the kids for an hour or so. We were fishing in 15 FOW with weeds about 8' up. After my 8th cast with a Mepps Bucktail spinner...BAM! I watched a nice Tiger follow my lure for about 10 feet or so then he nailed it with everything he had. Ended up landing him after about 10 minutes. He measured 34" and was a very healthy looking fish. We snapped a couple quick pics then sent him back on his way. After a half hour or so I had another Tiger follow me to the boat but didnt bite. He looked to be in the 25"-28" range. We did have a little more excitement a bit later when my oldest son nailed a 25lb carp on his spinning rod. After a long battle we managed to get it in the net.

    So i am taking out a friend on wednesday who would be happy with some lakers. I honestly dont fish for them. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks
