It even go better today! Boated 15 kings . Even had one triple. They were mostly a heavy class fish with the largest at 24 lbs. And a few lower twenties. Yep the fishing had been unbelievable last week ,we were out on 3 trips and it just got better and better. Yesterday it took my partner and I 45 minutes to get our 6 rods set first thing, we were to busy netting fish! We lost a bigger fish then the 23.15 lb. My daughter came in from California for a couple of days and wanted to catch her first salmon. Well we had a real blast never even got all lines in and a rod fired. We went 5 for 6 on Kings lost one ripper on a dipsey. We fished from 8:00 to 11:00 mainly a watermelon spoon bite 50-60 down over 120 fow. Luck came our way today . Ran two yotes today, one for many of miles that finally ran into a load of my number 4 buck shot finnaly then the hounds came to a bay on him. Both yotes were males. Yotes we're out in full force yesterday, hounds ran nonstop most of the day. My two young female hounds hammered a track for 3 hours without a loss then into the state park. Bummer. Oh ya! Great mount for sure . Wish there were more Gray's to chase around here in the lake plains now days. 40 years ago there was one behind every bush , now a day only see tracks once in a while. Wow whaler fantastic pics of eagles! On my way to work the last 2 out of 3 mornings I saw yotes in fields. The other day we dinged this'll yote in the hind leg and after a good run the hounds ran this guy down to he wouldn't go any more then finally terminated him.
