    If you don't know Tommy I truly feel bad for you! He is an absolute outstanding man that deserves all the help that he has given to so many. He has gone way out of his way more times then once to help everyone get back on the water even when it was time to go home for dinner! He would never ask anyone for help, but now we as a Sandy family are asking for help for him!

    Very cool and very jealous, sounds exciting as hell! I fished the Gulf two weeks ago and doesn't even compare to what you did. We caught Trout, Reds, Grooper, Lady Fish, and a Snook. Would trade for for your any day of the week!

    I did my cutlass bearing last year also. I couldn't get my hands on the puller your talking about so I just removed the strut from the hull , pressed the old bearing out and new one in. Much easier then removing the shaft IMO. If you can get the puller great if not this is the way I would go.

    Unfortunately I will be just north of Tampa in Crystal River. I was hoping with the high temps they are having that the Tarpon would migrate a little faster. Talked with the Capt I'm fishing with and he has only seen a few roll the other day and that it so far. Not getting my hopes up but man I hope it happens! May fly back down in a few weeks solo to knock the Tarpon off my bucket list.

    I run a moor also and always run my blacks release off the coated cable then the probe then breakaway to the ball. Have never had any issues with that setup.

    That's awsome stuff! Where abouts were you fishing? I'm heading to Florida this Saturday and will be fishing the Gulf side. Hoping for a Tarpon!!

    Now that I have the floors done, everything is buffed and waxed, most of the stainless is polished, and gunwale wood is refinished i thought I was done! Now that everything is looking pretty good, my boat OCD is making it so all my eyes can focus on is the teak cabin door and frame. Now I need to pull it all off and refinish it! I'm thinking to make like a little easier that I might try and sandblast / glass bead the wood to remove the old stain. Never done it before but think it worth a shot to speed things up a bit. Anyone ever blast wood before and is it even possible?
