  1. Sweet. Nice job. Sent from my XT1565 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. For me,2.3 mph would be minimum speed. I would error faster than slower. 2.3 to 3mph. It's just a number though and every boat is different. Good luck.
  3. Nice job. It really is a great time taking kids duck hunting.
  4. Nice fish and it was good meeting you today Stillfishing.
  5. Please make sure your boat is in order for a saftey inspection. I seen a lot of tickets handed out yesterday while at the state launch. Alot!! If you are all set it only takes about 5 minutes.
  6. Kane and I fished 27-28 lines for three hours. Caught small King on a Hammer fly, and two steelhead on spoons. Trolled South at the end and never marked a fish or bait under 400'. I will take it for first trip of the year.
  7. You should check out the Summer LOC leaderboard. That will tell you everything you need to know. On a good note,..my biggest fish the last few years have come in the first two weeks of July. You will be OK. Gook luck.

  9. IF that's a Fishmaster,I think a great area would be right in front of the motor overhanging the splash well. Add a wash down pump and it would be sweet. I know this doesn't answer your question and your board would have to be redone to accommodate the shape of the splash well and tilt of the motor., but just a thought.
  10. Maybe looking for a nesting location. Hooded mergansers nest in trees.
  11. I have four convector 30's purchased within the last two years and all the drags are sticky. 2 spooled with mono,2 with wire. Its the only thing I don't like about them. I deal with it because they are reasonably priced and I don't believe it has ever cost me a fish. Yet!
  12. Slingha..nobody is screaming. I love Amazon and I think everything you have written is correct. I'm just saying that we need to keep local shops in mind. Cabelas is another story. Ordered some pants from them December 25th. Back ordered. On January 25th still no word. Canceled order and ordered from Amazon. Here two days later. That's hard to beat.
  13. I think Amazon can beat everyone on price...but it is still important to buy from the local shops like Narby's and Captains Cove. These shops are always competitive and they have what you want now.
  14. Thanks for the reply. I live near the Oak, so I will check it out.Thanks.
  15. I can not find this color for sale anywhere. I am assuming its "Rainbow Trout". Any help is appreciated.
  16. Its early, and exactly what you would expect for this time of year. Hope this helps.
  17. Nice job. Wigeon are great decoying birds. Congrats.
  18. I hate to be the LOU duck ID police, but that dog has a hen wood duck in his mouth, not a teal. Congrats on a successful full hunt.
  19. Either way..nice job. I love duck hunting. Took my son to the Northern zone youth hunt and he shot a limit and the western zone youth is this weekend. Scouted today. Its going to be a good hunt. Always enjoy your posts. Keep em coming.
  20. Are you sure that "Scaup" isn't a ringneck? Looks to be white around the base of the bill. Could just be the picture and I am looking at it on my phone.
  21. You are going to ruin a friendship over money and it will be on you. You didn't help catch the fish. Real friends are happy for their friends when something good happens to them. Be happy for them. "Splitting evenely" implies that you are present. Good luck.
  22. Lol..Tweeter!..I'm not a big social media guy, but Twitter is awesome, and yes you need it. I appreciate the charters pictures and information they are willing to share.
