I'm a big Falcons fan. I think if they score first and hold the pats to 14 or less in the first half they blow them out. That doesn't happen IMO it's a high scoring shootout Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Thankfully the mall was empty so I didn't get transferred to any type of institution by Paul Blart and co. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. Awesome! Still waiting on my 2014 bow buck lol Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. I read a couple of the posts last week about people catching Browns in the lake with the mild weather and then yesterday found myself on Craigslist frantically trying to find a cheap 17+ foot aluminum boat to maybe go try. Also walking around at the mall yesterday waiting for my phone to get fixed I realized I was making the sounds of a screaming drag out loud without thinking about doing it. It's about that time. 7. I wish we had a better pic of it. It was 30 inches but had some serious shoulders.
  8. 29lb king 14lb atlantic thats going on the wall and maybe a 18-20lb king that looked like it was mounted already
  9. I'm gonna say that's not a good argument because hunting shouldn't be about killing a deer. If you have a short amount of time and need meat you can shoot a doe, if you have a short amount of time available to hunt and don't want/need the meat then why are you going to shoot a small buck? Just to say you filled your tag and be able to puff your chest out to your buddies? I think it's important to be able to go out and shoot what you want but with some legislation it would be as easy for people to kill 2.5yo plus bucks as it is to kill 1.5yo's now. Like someone said earlier and I made the same point on a big blowout Facebook argument about it, not every hunter is a trophy hunter and not every hunter is a meat hunter but EVERY HUNTER wants to shoot a big buck.On another point I think it's funny that people who are "meat hunters" act like they're always under attack when I see them giving a lot more people guff for not shooting a 2.5 year old than anyone does for them shooting a 1.5 year old. It's usually the same people who give me a ton of crap when I tell them I throw salmon back in the lake. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Awesome buck Rob! Nothing like sticking it out after a long, hard season and getting it done in crunch time. I wanted to get out one last ditch effort to fill some sort of tag but I had finals at school the last two days and I'm leaving for Antarctica in the morning for the Air Force. When I get back in February it'll be count down to boat buffing season which leads to the countdown for brown trout, which starts the countdown for salmon season which inevitably starts the countdown to bow season and then the cycle starts all over again. Once again it was awesome following along with all you guys from October 1st until now, congrats again to everyone who had the chance to harvest a deer this year and good luck to those still putting the work in for one. They're moving still for sure, on my way home from Oswego tonight I saw 1 probable shooter and 1 nice big shooter buck cruising fields just at dark. Paul
  11. Those 50mm VXIII's you could stay in the stand all night. Me and my dad both have 3.5-10s on our .270s and .300. And I'll also agree that nobody has a shooter buck walk out in front of them and says hey weather.com said I could've shot him 3 minutes ago but no way I'm doing it now and if you know someone who has it's more than likely a buck fever cover story for why the deer didn't go for a pickup truck ride.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. Congrats on a great buck man! Sucks people always try to find some fault in everything. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Congrats pap! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Nice buck Woodsnwater! I'm with the rest of you guys not a thing tonight. I thought last year was a frustrating season this season trumps all. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Awesome buck man! Congrats Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. I'd say it's pretty considerate of him to even do what he's doing for hunters. You can thank the people who move into houses near real MX tracks then cry about the noise until they get them shut down or only allowed to be open when leaves are on the trees from 3-5pm on saturdays. 17. Also more than I've seen since gun season started Duckman. I would've shot one but every group was acting as if they were pushed out of the area they came from. Nothing since and have heard hardly any shots. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. A lot of doe movement here this morning 12 does have gone by no bucks yet Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. I'm also in 8F Mike. Heard some shots early but not many. Gonna be on my way home in a little bit so I'll be hunting 5H tomorrow where there's bound to be even less movement. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Doesn't seem like you guys are missing much as far as I can tell. Quick movement at sun up and a turkey since then Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Already movement here with a small 8 running nose to the ground past my stand. A Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. Awesome! Congrats Drew! I can still remember my first deer like yesterday and it was 9 years ago today. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Wind definitely died off this afternoon still no movement though. I saw 3 does milling along the edge of a field on my drive in and saw 2 does right before dark. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. Wind picked up here as soon as it got light. I saw 2 does stand up from where they were bedded mill around for about 2 minutes and bed back down. Hopefully it improves by tonight because I have to drive to lake George for thanksgiving tomorrow afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  25. In the stand and the wind has really died out for the most part besides a few light gusts. Hopefully they'll be on their feet this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
