  1. My buddy just got the Ipilot, used it a couple of times on his 17' lund. On lake ontario, it will troll at 2mph but thats it, and it killed the batteries so an onboard recharger is necessary. When the batteries started to run out of juice, the motor just started spinning around.....what a mess we had. That is all he has tried with it so far, so the verdict is still out on it.
  2. Got a phone call today telling me the Nice n easy in brewerton is selling mid grade fuel without ethanol..at 4.01 per gallon

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water:all day Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 35 Total Boated:31 Species Breakdown:29 browns, 1 king, 1 laker Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: 2.0 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 10 to 30 Lure Depth: 5 to 25 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Got out late Saturday morning about 10 went out to 30 feet of water and ran 4 riggers and 3 lines on the planers. 4. As of today, Fastrak has begun to switch the 93 octane unleaded tanks over to non ethanol fuel. They say that this will take time, and hope to have all stations switched over by the end of May. So keep an eye on the fastraks.
  5. That sucks, I will try to snag it for ya next time we go out lol
  6. I was considering 2 of these and upsizing to a 12 pound ball..... http://www.basspro.com/Cannon-LakeTroll ... 1035/72265 Would these not be good? [ Post made via iPhone ] Those wont hold a 12lb ball •Retrieve rate: 1' per minute •Weight capacity: 8 lbs. •Clutch brake system •18'' copolymer boom
  7. This is the driving force behind fastrak having it. They were waiting until the tanks were empty to begin carrying it, and that should be within the next 60 days. Older carbed 350's with expensive 4 barrel carbs dont care for ethanol either.
  8. I have heard that Fastrak will soon carry super unleaded fuel without ethanol. If that happens and I see it I will toss up a post to let yall know
  9. What are you looking for? Indoor storage, gated lot? Someones house to leave em at? Theres a bunch of those self storage places around Baldwinsvile, Some have enough space to park a truck/boat outside.

  13. I shoot an 1187 with the same ammo you use, most of the time I have an improved cylinder in mine, of course there are those days where I change it out but the improved for me kills ducks, not wounds ducks. For ducks I use 2's and if I am goose hunting I will use bb's

  16. Got out this am, with 3 to 4 footers we didnt play on the lake for long, tried doing as the charter boats did and marked very few fish so called it a day. We werent able to spend enough time today to find the fish, but they were not in the harbor when we were
  17. i dont know how the bite is, but we will be out there tomorrow in a 17ft black lund. Hoping for a good day though
  18. Thanks we will give those ideas a try next time out.
  19. My buddy and I are very new to salmon fishing. We have fished for them on Ontario out of Fairhaven, Pulaski (once each) and the last 2 days out of Oswego. We have found and marked a ton of fish but only have 1 in the boat and 1 lost at the boat. We have trolled from 2.0 to 3.5 anywhere from 75 to 160 feet. We have used spoons, green and white flies and green/ silver, green/ dayglo, chrome flashers, with and without the e-chips. We have trolled close to 40 hours from before sun up to about 6pm. We have seen other boats catch 2 or more fish each time out, have tried matching thier speed, kept the riggers where the fish are. Is there something you guys see that we are doing wrong? Is there advice you might give to help us have more success? Thanks for reading
  20. 81 was clear today from Syracuse to Watertown, I have not heard anything on the news about the lower parts of 81 so you should be clear. Good luck!
