  1. Don’t plan on it impacting my fishing or hunting. Actually I think I will be doing much more. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. Have a flock outback that’s been coming around. Close to 25 birds, 3 jakes, no Toms. Tonight this single Tom shows up and he’s a stud. Can’t wait!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. Wonder how the LOC derbies will be impacted? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Couldn’t get the fuel ball to pressurize. Was too rough to fish anyway but was going to take a ride in the bay. It’s probably something stupid but squeeze as much as I want, I couldn’t get it to fill. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. Keith I want nothing to do with it but it should be quite the teachable moment lol. Great morning for a shake down cruise! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Rigged and ready for the morning! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Threw $200 of fuel in the boat. Charging the batteries now. May have to go wash some lures soon. Jr wants to go in the am. Tried to tell him temps in the 20’s and northeast wind at 13 won’t be pleasant but lord knows he knows a lot more about this than I do. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. I get it. My wife has underlying health issues and one of my boys is an EMT. Spooky times. Positive vibes and prayers. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. I’ve never been on unemployment but applied today online. Seeing as I can’t work I’ll take the $500 a week. You can call your mortgage company and banks that hold your car notes and defer payments for 90 days. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Where you been stoneam? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. Don’t worry too much about the “right” lures. When the kids were young I would often let them pick the lures out of the box. Matters less what. Matters more where and how. You’ll do great. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. Keep it simple. Two riggers and two boards is more than fine. Plenty of time to complicate things down the road. I rarely run more than four rods. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Both are fine. Spoons work well off the riggers. 30 to 50 back on the riggers, 70 to 100 on flat lines or boards. Look for warm pearl green water. Stay out of gin clear water. Go slow, 1.8 to 2.2 mph. Stay shallow, most likely ten to thirty feet of water. I think you’ll find it’s not that hard or technical. I bet you’ll catch fish. 14. That’s awesome, I was thinking the same thing! Necessity is the mother of invention. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Sorry Dave didn’t see your heads up, thank you. Spypoint has gone off three times in the last hour. Have run off all three times I shined the light but that means they’re probably coming back. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. Going to be a rough patch ahead for everyone. When you find yourself in the swamp you have two choices, stop and sink or keep walking. We as a country and here as a community will keep walking, it’s what we do. Won’t be painless or easy but we will get to the other side. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Great to hear that. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. That’s awesome! He said he was going last night, was thinking about it when I drove by the marina at midnight on my way to the airport. Tried to book a night trip with him but the tides were off. He had to have been in cloud nine. Always awesome to meet someone with so much passion. Learned today I can’t go back to work for two weeks. Nothing to do with my health, just a new policy for people that have traveled where I work. Have to figure out how to make the best of it! 20. But it’s bluefin which tastes horrible. Blackfin, yellowfin and albacore are the only ones worth eating unless you’re a cat. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. https://jerseykeyfishing.com/types/ These guys were incredible, hard core. Ran over 80 miles in rough water to get us fish. We were supposed to be back at 330 but didn’t hit the dock till almost 6. Highest recommendation. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. They were awesome fresh last night on the grill. Captain suggested NOT to rinse with fresh water prior to freezing. Bringing a bunch home as well as mangrove snapper fillets. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Flying home in the morning. Sounds like my work is imposing a minimum of a one week quarantine, possibly two for anyone that has traveled by air. Might as well make the best of it, will be spending some time at the creeks and piers. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. Made it out to the hump yesterday, rough morning, didn’t think we would get out there. Brought home a limit of black fin tuna, fantastic trip. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  25. Glass or tin? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
