  1. I have a 15hp power head for that motor and a lower unit, both are in excellent condition, as this motor was only used 1 time a year for a Canadian trip, I bought another motor and was going to put this one back together but never got to it.
  2. Yes the pull start is in the center, hard to see I have the same motor with a 15hp motor hood, just the carbs are different.
  3. Thanks for the return post, guess I’ll have to get my 20’s back out and give them a going over, I got one that slows down only once in a while, can’t figure out what it is, I took the motor apart looks good tested the armature, that’s balanced, case is good brushholder is fine, power is good also made sure ground is good, did a load test on power supply passed with flying colors, it’s something inside the rigger. I’ll try to find a new switch and put it in, in the mean time I’ll use my OL’Faithfull 10’s.
  4. Excellent footage, Whistler, it’s been a crazy month here in Pa. there was only a few night this month that it wasn’t blowing like hell, of course I wasn’t feeling so good had a case of some bug. Really laid the smack down on my ass, LOL, the rest of the time it’s been snowing, just like yesterday, 10.1/2” of snow, so today will be a clean up day, and get the heavy snow off my boat covers. Been one screwy month for us. Anyway congrats to your hunt. Sounds like you guys didn’t have it easy either. Usually this month is a productive mont being it’s the mating season, we don’t quit we stay after them year round, just not as aggressive. Fishing for eyes trumps coyote hunting
  5. Not really I’m in NE Pa.
  6. How did I know you would jump on that best of luck!!!
  7. That would be cool!!! Thanks!!
  8. Have any pics of the inside plus the cuddy, interested in her.
  9. Was watching walleye insider and they were using a jig type lure like the snap lure I think they called it the snap jig. It’s a jig head with the plastic wings. Looks pretty impressive.
  10. The 500 yard spools come with free binoculars, and or a free range finder good out too 300 yards
  11. Well those other reels slipped past me while I was shopping for the big storm, that would have been perfect for my new inline boards I’m going to run more this year instead of the big boards, sometimes your the windshield, sometimes your the bug, but It averages out!!
  12. After having to have a fiberglass boat and a big hammer inboard, in my older age I’m ready to make the switch also!! Good luck with your purchase!! My inboard has kept me off the water for those spur of the moment ordeal so that’s another big factor in my next boat. I’m going to run the ONE WORM this year yet!
  13. I’ll take them all you have a pm!!
  14. What pound weights will they lift I looked on fish 307 can’t come up with exactly they are in comparison with, did you ever try a 15-16#weights??
  15. Nice assortment of must have items for sure if you ever decide to split things up I’ll be interested in the stick baits!! PAP
  16. I once witnessed a Canadian crew along our cabin up at Lake Poutrincourt, they caught a freaken huge hen filleted her and ate it, all well and fine? But they nailed her huge head to a tree and the owner got wind of this, they were escorted off the lake and don’t ever come back!!! The owner at the time his name was Andrea, and he took a liking to our crew after 2-3 trips, they had a breeding section that wasn’t on the map but was part of the lake get my drift!! This area was DEFINITELY marked no fishing, he told us that big female that was nailed to the tree came from this breeding area. His son was a biologist in the study of female spawning fish, he said the bigger females lay the eggs with the bigger yolks which are more apt to be fertilized with minimal amounts of the males milk, which interned gave more hatched fry than the younger more abundant layers from the younger females so it averages itself out. Both are just as important to the lake. I’m only repeating what he told me so if he’s wrong than I’m wrong. He was a very interesting man!!!

BBRRRAAHH Canadian, even their exchange rate ain’t that bad, I’m thinking crack head selling Grandpa’s boat and he’s looking to purchase a big bag and make millions on the street Yupper we don’t get’em all but we do manage to get most of them!!!!!
  18. Totally with that last storm we got 5". I knew as soon as I want to put up my canopy it would give a lot. 2 years ago I did make the mistake and the snow pushed the canopy flat to the floor. What a time to find all the rods, as they were bent to shyt and ripped the front snaps right out of the canopy material. I had a local guy that retired from this occupation to just fix it. I couldn't convince him to make me a new one[emoji36][emoji36] This year I'm getting a new top from the guy Hank referred me to he's a mobile guy also. I dont know if I'll tow it down to hanks place or if he will do it in the campground?? Time will tell, after this one last snow,, I hope I can get stuff going on. Getting closer and closer to the 1st Saturday in May.[emoji106][emoji106][emoji33][emoji33] Take care!! Pap Sent from my LG-M327 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
