  1. Im just sitting back waiting for them to come in lol....Ive got my hot n tots ready to go lol
  2. Pretty soon they will be moving in so everyone can get a quick shot before the spawn. Theres still plenty of time left Heck we have not even hit the Fair Haven Challenge yet.
  3. Well once again this weekend presented challenges for those who took to the lake. Reports from the invitational in Oswego strongly indicated it was a one fish, two fish tournament. The lake was ripped up during the middle of the week which doesn't really help either.... Despite all that we went out with a good attitude in picture perfect conditions with nothing more than a thought of letting the good times roll.. Several of the charter captains gave up on salmon early and heading in to 60 fow for some browns. We worked straight out of the silos, started at 120 and worked thru some of captn chucks famous marks all the way out to 325. Most of the fish came around the 230 mark.. Most went east, we stayed west and did what we do best... We ended up 6 for 8 plus one balloon off the planner board lol. Let the good times roll lol
  4. Lets recap shall we lol. Two weeks ago the fish were nice guys. You couldnt keep them out of the boat. They were hitting on everything. But recently its been more like no more mr. nice guys.. There are a lot of steel heads out there shaking hooks while jumping around. The kings have been few and far between but you just cant give up is all. Heres our vid from yesterday. We lost a lot but in the end got a nice one so it made the day.... Itl pick up....
  5. Well some say its slow, others say its good lol. Yesterday not much did come in, everyone worked out 200 fow +. 100 down. Seems like meat is the key. I went out this am with captn bill and positive thinkin, we went 2 for 7...A solid 7 we fought all the fish but the steelheads shook the hooks. At one point we were 0-3 lol...We ended up with 2 kings, one small maybe 6 lbs, the other a big boy 22lbs. Ill make a vid tomorrow. The lake is calm, so start around 150 and work out to 300 if you want, 100 down mostly from what we did....
  6. Yea when its really wavy its no fun. Now that im done with harborfest, were gonna put a new set of plugs in and give her a go tomorrow night thru the weekend. Usually after she settles down its pretty active. Tomorrow am if you can go might be prime...
  7. Another great day yesterday. Kings at 120 -200, 100 down. One thing I did notice and others do agree. This year these fish look huge compared to what they "actually" weight. One that looks to be 25 30 lbs on site really is around 20-21 actual. But they are hammering the bait so if you have it you have them lol...
  8. Lol dont worry plenty for everyone lol. Its so good you can smell it lol.. Here's some footage from last night. Should be an awesome weekend...
  9. What a blast...Theres a great concentration of fish straight out between 120 and 200. Most of the stuff is coming off meat but spoons are working with flashers etc. We ended up with 8 total for the day. I went out with Captn Bill (Positive Thinkin) and Captn Dale (Fandango). Fish are down 100+ so you gotta go deep. Its probably gonna be busy today and tomorrow because of the derby or tournament lol.... You gotta go fast too because the current underneath was slow. Ill have a vid later but its great so go get em.....
  10. Nice fish!. Im heading out in the morning. hopefully we all do well lol...Ill be on 68
  11. Welp theres basically a few channels we work on. 05 which charter captains and locals like to use 68 which is a general common channel 72 which captns and others use frequently. I used 05 up till last year when they had problems with the channel. This year ive been mostly 0n 68 Bayside does have a number but if you break down I would jump on 68 and ask for help that way. You will not have any issues getting assistance around here. Were all pretty in tune to that stuff...
  12. Well the storm did help the fishing cause theres guys coming in with them. Browns were out at 60 28-30 down and kings coming in from 200, 60 down. Mostly spoons. Mostly browns are being caught as of the last two days. Lets see what the weekend brings...
  13. Yea they were not bad, the wind did calm out so everyone could enjoy them. I basically went out just beyond the marina entrance to watch them. Lets see what today brings fishing wise. It seems like its calmed down....
  14. Well look at the bright side..your saving gas lol. Fishing is non existent and if anyone tells you different they must have taken in too much gun powder from all the fireworks last night lol. You basically had about an hour yesterday before it kicked up to 3+ out beyond. I woke up this morning and could still hear the water, Same conditions will apply today, hopefully the wind calms down for tonights fireworks in the bay... You want my suggestion....Here it is lol...
  15. Yawnnnnnn lol....It has been slow lol. How slow?? so slow this thread went to the middle of the second page thats how slow it is. The lake has been beautiful...for swimming lol. Its been a sheet of glass and even the charter captains are coming in with just some bass and a few browns. People have gone out for hours with nothing. Some caught a couple of small kings 60 feet down , 70 fow just beyond the 2nd bluff and thats that. Typical june. Thing should pop up shortly.....but hey...dont let that ruin your 4th fishing, things can change in a heartbeat like they did two years ago....
  16. Should be a great weather weekend. Lets go get em. Were still playing around 150 and deeper so good luck everyone...
  17. Talk about floating on glass...Boy was it calm today. Once again some did and some didnt. Im on the didnt lol. But they are there, 150 fow, down 25, mostly spoons is what was caught on today. Small to mid size steelheads. i gave it a good two hours and had enough , I had sun to lay around in lol. Lets see what tomorrow brings with these storms moving thru...
  18. Proud to say im in the didnts lol. I went this morning for a couple of hours, didnt move a rod lol...Fish are at 150 right on top. Others working around me did well. Steelheads, lakers occasional king etc....It was an early bite this am. Im gonna give it another shot tomorrow but beautiful day on the lake for sure ...
  19. Well its a stiff west wind today...I drove down to the lake to check it out, Its brewing but you can get out now. be careful out there. Im gonna try later tonight
  20. Lol fire was the only light I had last night. The high winds shut the power down lol...I was going to go out today but same conditions apply so it looks like tomorrow. Last report indicated steel heads at 225 feet , 25 down off the ball...Big ones! See you all on the water this weekend. Happy fathers day lol...
  21. I believe they are large schools of baby browns. Many have been centered between the second bluff and moon beach...If you see one approaching your screen drop the lines right above them and get ready lol.. We pulled two small ones out last week with that tactic....but they are small.... Set your lines way back too lol, thats what we did when we got the two fish on the one rod last week (via a slider). my opinion lol
  22. Yup and we stayed right in the 100 to 110 range. We fished between the 2nd. bluff and the sterling field (just past moon beach).... Well today me and Capt n Dale decided to go look for some tush aboard the "Fandango". We left dock at 7, Nice boat ride until 10. We ended up with 7 total as a mixed bag of Kings, Coho, Steelies and a nice mud chicken lol. We used spoons and a live bait rig. The only thing that didn't fire was the dipsey which goes against the grain lol...I went back out tonight but it shut down for the evening lol. Others did well too but nothing much past 140...So go get tomorrow early.....just go to 100 and setup lol...
  23. Hey I was glad to see the valinote back in the water....you got a nice craft there.....Ill see you around for sure. Now that I got my cleaner orders put together I can go have fun lol....Good luck everyone see you on the water...
