  1. Brian, we set up right behind you as we ran up to the point hoping to target silvers. Not bad. 5 salmon 1 rainbow. The lakers still bit though with 4 of the 6-8 lb size. Nice day to be out. The boys had fun all the while chewing their Big Al from Uncle Joes! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  5. Ran out to 450 last night for a brief inspection trip. Wasn’t expecting the East wind as much as it was but oh well. Marked few fish on top 20-40ft. 44 degrees down 70ft. 48 degrees at 60. Ripper on dispsey out 100ft. Marked a lot of in 300ft as we picked up with approaching weather. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Being he's your neighbor im assuming you are on good terms so he wouldn't leave you hanging with a mess. If not, id be cautious as a new buyer, like buying from someone you dont know. You can look up book price to see current value. 17K CAD is rather high, Low / High is 5-10K CAD. That only goes so far if its in really good shape and no leaky rivets etc but gives you an idea so your not out of line. Personally my concern is the motor. 2 Strokes are meant to be ran all the time and not sitting around 3-4 years. Ive heard others say its not a problem. Hopefully it was winterized with a good fogger treatment. Still though, bearings rust/ seize and then your into some rebuild. You can get a good compression but still have problems internally. You would still want to check compression after you had a ride in it. If it doesnt start or he cant get it to start id be really cautious. 3-5K for rebuilds these days depending on who and where they do it. If you can get it for cheap, all the while planning for a potential rebuild and its a solid boat thats in good shape might be a good buy. if your looking for something that is turn key and you dont have time or money to fumble with, you might want to pass. Good luck, let us know. Heck you might find someone on here that would do something with it and you can get a % finders fee for moving it for him.
  7. I’ll have to check mine. My fish hawk has gone wonky a few times and wondered why. Thanks for the info. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. No doubt Seneca has some needed work coming. I’m guessing the best shot at getting lakers is trolling to cover sq bottom. Still fishing or jigging might be rough right now unless your on top of one. 30-40 first light on bottom or 50-100 near edges bottom fishing towards north end would be the only hope. Slow trolling. Anything faster for lakers forget it. You could always troll faster for landlocked though. Just tough to do both. I sure would be releasing any caught. If your looking for dinner table fare hit Cayuga. Seneca needs all the help she can get right now. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. I believe that’s right .5-.65. My cannons have the ion control and I think it’s around .55. My older cannons were giving off twice that when things were way out of line. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I’m only somewhat knowledgeable of this as I had a hot boat with mine. Spent a tremendous amount of time finding source. Ended up being a couple of things with bonding and my radio. Learned a lot going through it. Basically if you touch your neg side of the battery and touch different points on your boat while turning on electrical stuff you’ll see if you have leakage. Paint bubbling around my canvas snaps were giving signs of electrolysis going on. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Doesn’t sound good does it. What did NYSEGs intake do when they were drawing for the coal plant? Is not that part of the process still intact or am I missing something? I was always a fan of that warm water discharge during the winter back in the hay day, caught tons of Browns and salmon. Anyone know what the difference might be? I haven’t had a chance to study it at all. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
