  1. Launched late Saturday around 12:40. My wife gets the award for being a trooper and going with me. Figured we would do a six rod set with the idea in mind that we would stick to a high speed troll (2.9 to 3.5 sog) for salmon browns and maybe a bow.... Well went 1 for 3 with this one nice brown hitting a FLT alpha alewife on ten color lead core off an inline. Water was 41.5 degrees and the sun was out making for a relaxing beatuiful afternoon on Seneca. Nice meeting you Sutton 44 like your LUND, pretty boat. Happy New Year All!!!!
  2. Got two oval ones one for back window of truck and one for boat. Tempted to fish Seneca today.... If I can pull my boat up my icy driveway
  3. They were out of the XXXL size in the mens G string.... must be he bought them out
  4. Thanks ordered a couple of nice ones! Hope it brings you guys a few orders, lots of cool stuff in there!
  5. I would like to see if there is a bumper sticker for LOU? Something I can display on my truck / boat..... I would be willing to buy one... The logo above would be cool to display and it would let other Lou'ers know whos who.....
  6. Justin I am drooling! Doing the prime rib thing too but that shrimp walleye thing and the venny loin sounds delicious too!
  7. Merry Christmas all you crazy fishing fanatics!!!! This site ROCKS thank you to all moderators and creators of a great site!
  8. Black (fish shaped) with some herring bone reflective tape. Also I prefer ten lb or more balls for the deeper lakers.

  12. Great smokepole bruiser!
  13. Kevin great insight! I would like to see more posts from you on LOU.... I believe strongly that nature will balance itself no matter what types of fish we stock. Also I believe that our fingerlakes ecosystems are truly unique and deserve to be studied in depth. Therefore I will do my best to catch as many walleye and trout as possible, and even invite a few to dinner Good fishing guys merry christmas!
  14. Cool info thanks Les! Starting to get cabin fever too soon must fish, must fish!!!
  15. Great report! If the weather is decent this week I hope to get out!
  16. Take your wallett to Hills and Valleys... FLT spoons and Spin Doctor Flashers plus an assortment of flies. All the equipment you need is there too! I sound like an advertisement but I am just a fan..... I hope Santa gives me a gift card from there.... Or Fat Nancys

  18. I was just looking at the Work sharp tool. Has any one bought one cause I am about to pull the trigger on one and see if it works as well as they say. The principle behind it sounds great! Tired of my Smith carbide pull through but it works...
  19. caramel dolphin SD with a big weenie pull my finger fly........ (love the names of these and FLT lures) Finger lakes killer! Run from black #1 dipsy or off a rigger 8 ft. back. Leader from SD to fly 12"-16"..... Lots of tries with different combos seems have been my hot combo this year but others seem to work also!
  20. The one you took second with.... Memorial weekend... Like you have caught a bunch of thirteens..... ha maybe... it is Seneca not Cayuga
  21. Nice shore lunch!
  22. Seneca is a bit farther for me to go to. I agree bigger fish in Seneca but mostly mid lake and North during the summer months (long drive). Cayuga has been very good to me.. Both lakes are great to live near! Will post something
  23. Won't miss it. Thanks again Great Choice for sponsoring a great event!
