  1. The bite out of Sodus has been tough inside. Most are not doing well for the inside kings and the temps are too warm for a good brown bite. Out deep in 600+ fow has been really solid bite. Mix of 2 yr old kings, steelhead and some matures that are dark. Mix it up a bit out there, bites have come from 60 to 120 down for us, mix of spoons and flashers. I ran meat and only had 1 hit on it. I ran 2 trips today and had 15 bites each in the AM and PM landing a total of 15 fish for the day. 4 dark matures mixed in. For some reason they are way out, I know a few trying 200 to 400 and having minimal success...if you can go that far out...just go a bit farther and work deep. Tight lines Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Fishing has been good offshore the last week or so. 400+ ...deeper the better. I have heard of guys going out as far as 15 miles and getting some good bites. We fished a quick trip this afternoon and did well in 450 to 550 fow. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. If you want to move rods...we just got in and found lots of Lakers on 100 to 110 near bottom. Used flasher flys, ran high lines and found a handful of skips we threw back. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Steelhead, skips and Lakers from 100 to 200 fow. There is a lot of bait in 60 to 110. Most bites are in top 30 feet of water. Best of luck! Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. 100 to 240 fow is holding fish, but a picky bite. Some doing really well... others not so much. If you head deep...400+...the bite is HOT. 2 yr olds, 3yr olds, and steelhead. Not many boats out there with me...but a LOT of fish out there. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. There are fish inside 150...you can fight with them, they are deep down, or head off shore. 350+ fow produced a lot of fish this week. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. I was driving around tonight, have a charter in the AM....in 40 fow....down 35 feet you had 48 degree water. Lake flipped. I'll be out tomorrow as well...good luck! Might be a good day to head deep! Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. 100 to 160 fow is producing some good kings. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. I just came in... 130+ fow the water is more stable and 70 down was 52. Inside water I took a peek and was all over the place. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I was out monday and tonight...fishing is good in 120 to 150. 40 to 80 down. Monday was flashed bite, today was spoons. But solid bite. Both were 4 hour trips...6 for 8 Monday, 7 for 8 tonight. Mix of good kings, Lakers steel and 2 yr old here and there. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. We did the opposite!...lol. gotta love fishing. I couldnt get the early bite to go. We had 1 laker and a 2 yr old king in the boat by 8am. We fished 90 to 140...moved out to 250 and got a nice 20 pound king, 5 Lakers, a coho and another 2 yr old and in by 11. Water is cold out there...fish were from 20 ft down to 80. Mostly flasher fly bite for us. Not a lot of mark's or bait anywhere but solid pick out deep. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Troll out to 150 to 220. We did well Saturday and Sunday. The cold water is out there, fish 70 to 110 down. Mix spoons and flashers. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Sea sick waddler and carbon 14...it changes daily. I'm just suggesting not to ignore them. Side note... all baitfish in fish stomachs were huge. Mag spoons. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Tuesday before the blow they were 100 to 150 down 50 to 70. We threw spoons, meat and flys at them...only spoons went. 6 for 8 by 930 and came in with 2 man limit. All majors. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. If you want to put fish in the boat, 50 to 60 fow...brown bite has been awesome. We worked kings from 6 to 9am with 4 in the boat, but only 1 major. Lot of fish in 80 to 110, just couldn't get them to go. Then put 10 browns in the boat from 930 to 11. Afternoon trip was 20 for 25 on browns from 230 to 6 PM. 16. 20 to 40 fow...maxwell creek and west. Not crazy bite...but there are fish. 3 and 4 color...and riggers down 10 to 15. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. You have any of these for sale still? Roy's boys Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Hit them low light. Just before the sun got down it was crazy fishing. Slow pick from 3pm until 630 or so...brown and steelie on 300 copper...then it got crazy good last hour. It was this week...and we had 7 on from 645 to 745. Actually had a quad at one point. Tangled mess and lost 3... white glow flashers and spoons down 60-70 over 90. If you find the arcs...low light the fish are there. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Keep a lookout as well for salmon or trout "classes". The niagra show in January has a great deal of presentations to learn from. I believe the LOTSA organization puts on a school that is filled with information and a great investment. I know myself out of Sodus(suspicious lines charters) and Pecci( dreams come true)out of Oswego run classes on the boat. Its much cheaper and designed to give information and help you catch more fish. My personal belief is to make sure to invest in some knowledge as well as lures and gear. I will always do it. 30 years fishing on the lake...and always something to learn. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Sodus is a pretty solid bite. Head straight out 8 miles...450 fow... work 450 to 650. Throw some geeen spoons at 100...glow at 120...cheaters above. Run some flasher flys on dipsies and you will land a few. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. We ran out deep monday with some success. We ended up fishing only 3 hours because i had young kids on boat, but we were 3 for 8. 1 nice king, one 2 year old and a nice steelie. Dropped a bunch...ugh. the temp over 500 fow was 50 down 130. Yep...get the lines deep! There are also some guys fishing with succes from 250 to 350. Again...deep down. We set up in 140 to see...and it was 60 degrees on the bottom...so said nope! And went deep. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. The inside bite was a mix of small kings and browns....just fyi. There is a lot of bait and good marks, but all we managed was smaller ones and browns. If i were you i would go deep! They are there. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Nick, the bigger ones were down deep in the ice yesterday. We had that size up high...but the big ones down 105 to 115. Heard someone got a 27 pounder as well...deep down! Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. How deep? Bite was good at 400+ ...tough to get out there though if its bumpy. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I should also mention...spoon bite. Mag and stinger sizes. No particular color pattern working better than others...but spoons have been better than flashers. Sent from my SM-N920P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
