haha...I was serious but misread Vinces post! I though he said "Talked to some divers that came into Olcott today. They said the big Baha Was moved to 94 fow.
Run it out by running the boat or are you referring to the post saying open it up and clean it? I hear people talk about draining the bowl is this where water would accumulate?
Well the internet is a wonderful thing. Boat defiantly going to the marina for carb rebuild and replacement of bellows and to service or if need be replace the gimbal bearing. I have always been an outboard person so learning things that to look out for on I/o drives. This will explain the water getting into my bilge! Oh man....
Ok so I replaced the water/fuel Seperator filter and it is still stalling at idle and at a troll, really knocking allot under 1000 rpm but once I give it enough throttle and over 1000 rpm it runs smooth and fine. Thoughts?
Interesting takes and stories here. When I retire I plan on selling everything and living on a boat. That is it. An American Tug to do the ICW and head over to the bahamas for a couple of weeks then back again.
THE BRINE IS A MUST DO! I did some salmon and didnt brine it first. all the white (good fat) came out of the fish and it was pretty dry. I will always brine it from now on. This is a great website:

I have a 7'+ Browning Medium to Medium Heavy rod just laying around. Would this be an ok rod to use for a copper setup? I would just need to buy a large enough Linecounter reel for it then
I think that any American company that moves overseas should not be allowed to sell their product in the us period. I also that we should all buy american made products to the best extent possible
So to look at a combo setup which size reel are we talking the 300 class or 400 class reels for a 400 copper. Also what weight copper and what brand of copper is everyone using?
i did the same thing. When I bought my boat it had rite locks on them. I could tell they were not going to hold up to a dipsey setup on lake o. They were pretty beat up as well. Took them off and replaced with Bert's over the old tire lock holes.
