You said you replaced supply and fill line, did you check or replace the vent line?make sure it’s its not collapsed or the vent coming through the hull isn’t plugged, mud bees like to get in there and plug it up. If the vent line is plugged in anyway it can cause a fuel supply to the motor issue.

I have owned an 1985 21’ trophy “pilot house “ style, not the walk around style for 5 years now and it’s one of the best fishing/trolling rigs I’ve owned.very solid well built fishing platform.can seat 4 people under the hardtop, fish box built into the floor and filet table, tackle storage under the hard top.plenty of room in the cabin for rod storage, can sleep 3 people and has room built in for porta potti.self draining floor.one of the driest boats Ive ever owned.I have pounded this boat on Ontario,Champlain and the Hudson.very stable boat and tows great. I also recommend like was stated above of having a surveyor look it over, I can recommend one if needed and I also feel 14k is way too much money, I wouldn’t pay penny over 10k

Alternative options for Downrigger lake trout

Laker fishing definitely not my thing but unfortunately have to fish for them from time to time and other dragging bells through the mud on riggers you can run mag divers on wire with a dodger and spin-n-glow and get down in that range and they will produce and usually produce bigger fish.if you can get the diver to tick bottom, that’s even better.any white/green or the yellow with orange dot dodger, I think they are like 8” and a big spin-n-glow will work, gambler, here on the lou site sells everything you need to catch lakers. -
For Filleting salmon and big browns i use a prime rib knife, get one off amazon for 12 bucks,I’ve been using the same one for over 10 years. A bit overkill for small browns, I use an aftco for them.

Closest would be light house marina or pine grove state launch in port Ontario if you have a small boat, best launch and what i would recommend would be to just launch at Mexico point
-
Don’t think port lodge takes reservations anymore, haven’t seen a truck and trailer in there in years or many vehicles at all.most likely filled with welfare people and illegals.there is a couple small cabin rental places right around there though.

If you are looking at staying in fair haven, scewie louies or anchor marina and resort, they have cabins and you can get a slip for your boat so you don’t have to launch every day.

Looking for mobile marine mechanic in Oswego area
finsntins replied to PD Buoy's topic in Open Lake Discussion
Hank is definitely the guy to go to but I’m not sure how much mobile work he does.if hank can’t take care of you,lot of guys use rookey brothers for mobile service in the area,I’ve heard they do good work but can be tough to get them to come work on your stuff.they came to Mike’s marina and fixed a few boats this summer and everyone was happy with their work.they are rebuilding a friend of mine motor now. I don’t have contact info for them but can probably get it if needed. I highly recommend checking with hank first!!!!! -
