  2. I lose sight of my weights below 100' on my 5 also. When I install the new 7, I'm going to tilt 5's transducer up a bit see balls over 100'. The 5 is going to be hooked up to AP and used mainly for tracking. Never had any issues with the model I have even though its not made anymore It has the 83/200 transducer.   4. I have an elite 5 and no problems with it. Just bought an Elite 7 this winter but haven't installed it yet. Always had Lowramce products and haven't had any problems yet. Bought the 7 with an autopilot from Hodges Marine. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  12. You should still fish like you have been. It's just a tool to help narrow down your target zone. No particular gadget is going to guarantee you fish
  13. At this point ,if we really love this sport that we spend many hours enjoying why not spend a few extra minutes at end of day to protect it for tomm. I know what I' m gonna do!!!

  16. Interesting thought!!! I pretty much feel same way, if fish want to bite they will. Get it in their zone and they will do the rest. Technology only helps so much. I will still use what I can though to my advantage.

  20. I have to agree with the mental illness aspect of all these recent acts of violence being the basis . Knee jerk reaction is to ban guns. But society needs to figure out how to deal with the real problem. Thought about this plenty and still can't come up with a reasonable solution.

  22. Moor subtroll uses a coated cable to relay info to unit. Used one battery all season Worked great with no problems. Also got bites with no marks on ff screen. Amazing how surface speed and down speed varies at times due to currents. Absolutely a valuable tool for your trolling arsenal.
