Hunted over looking a bedding area in a valley, all logged out and over grown, they’ll hear it does usually don’t like it to much but bucks usually check it out

Called in a shooter 50 yards for a buddy of mine that wants to get one mounted on state land. Wind was hitting us in the face all morning didn’t dress warm enough so now I’m home! Rattle make noise! Get deer curious! don’t use rattle bags or any thing that’s not real antlers.. bucks are starting to get territorial

Limited time in the woods with my 6 month old at home so I was taking the first decent buck that came threw, perfect wind for 40 acres of bedding.. Bucks were cruising the beds early kicking up does seen 4 smaller bucks Did a rattle this guy came in curious 30 yard shot fixed broadhead no blood just dead deer 30 yards away!

Let the arrow fly on a decent 8, rattled in 4 bucks from 1 1/2- 31/2 yro they were jumping around the grass chasing each other trying to spar decent 8 came in so I let him have it!

Yesterday morning 2 shooters came in probably a 130-140 inch deers 40 yards in the thicket, this morning I had one shooter come by probably 120s all of them checking bedding area out in different spots.. rattle and grunts been hot the past couple mornings, first 120+ is gonna have it

3 big does came running past the stand looking back, I stood up thought a buck was coming pulled back 2 coyote came running behind them got one at 30 yards.. have more pictures then deer on the piece of property..

Looks like next season I’m gonna look for a lease. Went to hang a stand last night and found 2 gut piles then this morning i went to hunt another spot and had a guy with his buddy were by the truck getting ready.. talked to them for a min said they got permission.. use to be spots I had bow to myself..

They probably show up I been getting slot of marks up high in the first 20ft, a lot of small rainbows and salmon up high too gonna shoot down to Dresden for the last few trips and hope for some off fish -

We need more funding for the lakes and a powder we could put in the lake would be ideal.. wait for a south wind dump it going across the lake and let the wind and current do the rest

Just ended a 4 hour trip this morning with 12 eels either stuck to the boat or down rigger balls all over 15 inches most I’ve seen this year! Got 8 in the boat and lost a couple off the prop

I know I posted this before but here’s a rage that bounced off the shoulder at 11 yards .. deer was fine acted like it never got touched.. I shoot FMJ arrows with muzzy fixed broad heads (dirts from where I marked blood) -
