Chaumont Bay 5/16 & 5/17

We fished Friday and Saturday out of Chaumont. We had to tuck in behind the points to stay out of the worst of the weather, but we found fish over deep structure in 40-60 feet of water. The take was a mixed bag of Walleye, Northerns and Browns with a few Sheepshead in there too. Everything came on spoons off the riggers 8-40 feet down. We didn’t get a touch on a stick bait or anything off the boards. It’s a great multi-species fishery. Only a few other boats on the water.
