Start them young

I was able to get my 1 and 3 year old grandkids on a dock on a local lake that is always loaded with pan fish. This is the best way to indtoduce them as the fish bite within seconds, action is nonstop, and they can see the fish bite. You also don’t need to cast and just need a small jig head and a small piece of worm. Notice they aren’t afraid to touch the fish,
