Lowrance Issues

I have a Lowrance Elite 5. The depth reading is stuck on 1.4 to 1.5 fow. I did a hard reset with the zoom in, zoom out and power buttons. No luck. The unit was working as my secondary when I took it off my Thompson. After installing on my Blue Fin I get the stuck reading. Same transducer, same cabling. Cables look OK but there is a little corrosion in the plug of the cable. I sprayed that with a shot of penetrating oil. Transducer, cable or something else? Any thoughts appreciated.

May not help but get the penetrating oil out of the plugs. Spray both plugs with carb cleaner or similar. Clean the corrosion best you can and see if that clears up the problem. If you feel you need to protect the connecting plug internals use dielectric grease.
