Wanting to head out this weekend from Braddock Bay before we take the pull the boat for the year. This is my first year fishing the great lakes, and it has definitely been a learning experience to say the least, but I have managed to land a few thanks to this board and all of the resources.

My main question (which is probably naive) but is it too late to target salmon? If not too late, I think I'd need to head towards either Gennessee or Sandy....If too late, I was just thinking about targeting lake trout. Any thoughts?

Not too late for salmon, just head out from major ports and you’ll find fish.  Head towards other boats but give them plenty of space since many run 500’ lines.  Pay attention to the direction and speed others are trolling so you know you are fishing the currents correctly. Most fish are well within 200 fow now, many under 100.
