Have they been catching any of the staging fish and is it worth the trip to try catching them?

It’s always worth a try…. It’s fishing….. sometimes you get them… sometimes you don’t…… it’s better than work for sure…… give it a go

Tried, didn't do well.  After hours of searching found a group feeding on baitfish in around 120 feet of water.  They just didn't like anything we threw at them.  Looks like my search for a big king will be waiting for spring.
