Safe to de winterize I/O

Curious what your thoughts on when it's safe to put your I/O in the water then pull it out and leave it on a trailer.

Other year I have put my boat in around April 20th, but would be nice to fish eater weekend this year,,,any thoughts on your dates or just watch the weather?

It depends on where you park your trailer... If it is in a heated garage, you should be ok even now. 

I usually try to wait till mid April, but sometimes the bug hits me and I go earlier.  And at the end of the day I just drain the block completely which really is not very difficult.

Or you can leave a drop light on in the doghouse…. I have done that before
