Last week went on a great adventure up to the Manitou Islands and . . . what a trip! Big thanks to my friend Greg for the invite! Anchoring for the night in the cove, the smell of the pine trees, grilling steaks with a good IPA, to the amazing structure and beautiful water, never mind the outstanding king bite! If you ever have the opportunity and the weather window this is a must-do trip. And, there are still a load of mature kings, in great shape, sitting up there. I'm guessing this is going to be one great and long run of kings hitting the coastlines this fall.
