Has anyone else that targets pike and skis also been having a bad year as well this year or is it just me? When we go out fishing we mark all sorts of fish but bites have been extremely limited

I charter on the St. Lawrence River and have boated over 80 pike, which is about the same as the last 2 seasons;  I do not fish musky.

Any big ones i will be up there next week

I've had a very interesting year thus far, variables depending on the water. The big weird thing was last week Braddock's bay, in 90 minute span, we boated almost 30 20-28'' inch pike and missed/lost about another 15-20. Just a significant amount of small guys off the weeds in Braddock's. Note sure if a good sign(really good spawning) or not(significant stunting), thought it was just a very interesting time.

Thats good to hear considering how slow the ice season was, the flooding would have made it a great spawn but the warm ups and freezes that happened back to back several times might have had an impact
