Fishing Report

Hi everyone.

New to this type of fishing,but will be going out more often when weather permits (small boat)

Went out yesterday and caught 1 fish. not sure what type.salmon trout ect. silver with pink stripe in middle about 10 lbs.

Welcome to the board. Nice fish. Possibly a rainbow. Next time check mouth. White mouth equals trout. Dark mouth equals salmon. Black mouth equals King Salmon. "Down speed" is speed at the downrigger ball. (Measured with a probe)

Will be going out tomorrow.looks like the weather will be good.

Hope I can hook into somemore.

Now I can tell what type of fish if I catch any.

Flees were bad for us today Shimano. We fished 600 feet of water yesterday just two miles inside the US Border and had flees out there and today we fished 65-140 feet of water and had the same amount of flees inside. Try heavier pound test if you want to avoid them.
