SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

We drove up from Pittsburgh and went out with Captain Harry Zimmerman and mate "Oakie" from Northfork Charters out of Olcott today. As usual, he did a great job of finding scattered fish all over the place. All four of our guys limited out, but we had to work for them. Best fish was a 24# king, and several steelies in the 8-10#class. Cohos were small, but healthy looking. Early fish came mostly off planer boards, then the dipsy divers did well for awhile. As the sun came up and got higher in the sky, the downriggers did well between 45 and 50 feet, where the water temp was 46-48 degrees. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful day on the lake. Captain Harry, thanks for another unforgettable experience! I'll be back up in mid-October for the run on 18 Mile Creek - can't wait! ;)
